We came on a really hot day but there are lots of shady spots under the trees with plenty of seating. Susan met us for the first time and respected the space we needed for our dog who can be spooked by new people. She has plenty of clean dog toys for your pup to play with. She also has hand sanitizer for humans and sanitizing wipes for pups. There are options to go outside of the fenced area to further explore the property. That area is an on leash area and the host has long leads to borrow if you want to explore. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks.
