Arrival Notes: • Parking: Please park in front of the garbage cans located by the garage. • Dog Etiquette: Kindly keep your dogs leashed and off the front lawn. They can relieve themselves in the designated circle or elsewhere if necessary, but please minimize their presence on the front lawn. • Dog Waste: Dispose of all bagged dog waste in the trash can with the black lid in front of the garage before leaving. • Entrance and Exit: Access the field from either the path behind the garage or the gravel path on the right hand side of the driveway. The side yard next to the garage is off-limits. • Supplies: Dog bags are available in the boxes attached to the fence. There is a water bowl next to the hose bib for your convenience. Additionally, a picnic table, chairs, bug spray, and hand sanitizer are provided for your use. • Further Exploration: At the bottom of the stairs, another single gate with more dog bags provides access to the field, creek, and wooded walk. Please leash your dogs beyond this point unless they have excellent recall. Wildlife such as deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits, hawks, and even beavers may be encountered. • Paths: To the left, a path leads through the woods, up the hill, and around the garage. On the right-hand side of the field, a gravel path leads back up to the driveway. You are welcome to explore the property with your dog(s). Description: • Property Overview: The property spans five acres and includes half an acre of fully fenced lawn, wooded paths, and an open field bordered by Popes Head Creek. Dogs enjoy running and playing off-leash in the fenced lawn area, and there are designated spots like a fire hydrant in the pea gravel area and a sandbox for their use. The creek offers a refreshing spot for dogs to explore and cool off. The property also provides numerous picturesque opportunities in all seasons. A natural wooded yard that borders a county park on one side, with a 7ft wooden privacy fence all the way around the property, the front and neighbor side sections are double sided, so a perfect solution for reactive pups and a side entry gate. Completely pesticide/herbicide/fertilizer free yard! Our ground cover is soft playground wood chips, soft for all pup paws, specifically designed to be comfortable for all kinds of furbabies! The playground chips are a natural tick repellent. We are open during rainy weather too for those of you with rain loving pups! The overhangs, patio umbrella and tree coverage keep paw parents dry too! Added bonuses, the chips dry quickly, there's no mud or slippery grass. You can also enjoy a deck with a patio table, cushioned chairs, lawn chair seating and a hammock! We also provide poop bags, doggie wipes and towels, extra dog water bowls, kiddie pools and outdoor spigot with hose for water bowl refills or hose play in the warmer months, elevated feeders for the pups who cannot bend down very well to drink and a few refreshments for humans too! Had a wonderful time today, the yard was well maintained and the creek area was a big treat for my Dog . i know he likes the water so it was really nice to be able to let him off leash and just let him run and play in a shallow creek so he can get use to it. We also loved the wooden path way behind the property to let him explore . Thanks again and we will definitely be back again .

John was very helpful with giving us instructions when we arrived. There’s poop bags around the property, quiet neighborhood, a hose, and chairs for you to sit and relax if needed. Everything your pups need and more. Great shade and sun where needed. We enjoyed the walk around the creek towards the end that way the pups cooled down after a hot afternoon. EVERYTHING IS BETTER THAN DESCRIBED! We will definitely be back! If for some reason you find yourself thinking before you reserve the spot, just do it. Your babie(s) will thank you for it!

Both my dogs loved exploring all the spaces and nooks. They're both part Pyr so they loved keeping to the perimeter and checking for whatever they do check for. My youngest loved using the balls that were available and he got worn out running up and down the hill. There's running water available for the doggos (and any Gen Xer who wants to reminisce about drinking out of the garden hose (😁). The rules are clear and not burdensome.

Beautiful spot with 2 fenced in sections. Lots of fun for pups that like to wade in a stream. The host provided drinking water for the dogs and chairs for the humans. The host kindly met with us and explained the rules and important information.

Really easy directions to find it and great communication. There’s a creek outside the fence you can go to and sprinkle inside for the summer days. Super nice place and very clean. Pups loved it too!

John’s property is gorgeous and the perfect place for Canine to exercise their nose and legs. There is a pleasant place for humans to sit, a sand box for digging, and John had a sprinkler out for our use because it was so hot. The yard was very clean and poop bags were available. Outside of the fenced area, Vader enjoyed the creek, frogs, and a walk in the woods —all on the property.

Beautiful, well-maintained spot. Our pup really enjoyed the opportunity to sniff around the fenced-in area as well as explore the open area by the creek. Everything we could have needed (poop bags, trash can, water, and even bug spray) were provided. Our pup went home happy and tired. Looking forward to visiting again!

The yard was just as described, fully fenced, clean with a place that the dogs could relieve themselves. Our dog loved it. She chased balls up and down the hills. She rolled in the grass and eventually rested after an hour of fun. It's the happiest we've seen her since we adopted her. The spot was easy to get to. We didn't need to go on curvy roads to get there. So our dog didn't get car sick on the way there or back. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon. (Also, John was helpful and met us when we arrived and pointed everything out which made for a great first experience using Sniffspot.)

Beautiful spot. John was very helpful. Everything is set up for dogs and for owners to have a great time. There is a large fenced in area with secure gates and a more wooded area to explore too. The directions on the app are clear, there are poop bags provided in the yard, there are water bowls and a sprinkler system in the yard. There is a sand box area for digging. There is shaded area with chairs for owners to sit. My dogs and I had a wonderful time.

Super easy parking and access. Wonderful hospitality- treats for humans and dogs, a toy basket, even a stick library, lol! Nice yard with lots of planting to sniff around. Very sturdy fencing around yard. The fence does border a neighborhood sidewalk so be on alert if your dog(s) tend to react to someone walking their dog. Could be a good location to work on curbing fence reactions, if you have dogs like mine that do that.
