We have a beautiful 80 acre farm with loads of space for furry friends and their owners to enjoy! Trails, a pond, creek, seating areas for relaxing , swings if children come along. There is truly something for everyone! *please fill in any holes your dog may dig. If your dog is a digger please visit our over grown arena which is at the very top of our driveway and has a bridge . They can dig to their hearts content in that location! This is a working farm! We have animals that need tending too, so you may hear us from time to time on equipment/ tending to our animals! We have options of fenced in spaces for our friends that prefer to be closed in, a space for climbing and digging , and open spaces to run or trails to walk! Currently back trails are not officially marked but path is clear with tire tracks. Please be mindful of trees or branches from above and below. Possible risk of tripping and falling in the paths. Come for our glorious sunrises on the creek and sunsets in the fields or just to enjoy the day exploring the fields and creek. The dog area starts past the broken black fence behind the house and goes down through the fields and into the woods. I would appreciate it if you would kindly please keep the dogs leashes and wait until you are past the broken fence to allow your dog to do any business. If your dog is under control or if the horses are not out, you can let them loose right after the broken fence. If you think your dog might be nutty with the horses, please take appropriate measures. To get to the creek, go past the broken fence and keep going down the hill to the back tree line. I have included a map in the pictures. And then just keep walking; it’s about five minutes from the house to the trailhead. We have set out fluorescent yellow markers on the trees on the back tree line as you approach the trail. We also put up a blue sign that says “To The Creek” at the trail head. Once in the woods, walk down the steep hill and take the trail to the right at the bottom of the hill, before the little ravine. That trail will take you out to a spot where your dog can splash around and I’ve cut a few trails to explore back there. If you go to the red barn, you’ve gone too far. The trail is right at the base of the hill. We are looking forward to having you and please reach out if you need anything special or want to chat before coming.

We no longer have goats. 8 acre pasture completely fenced in with wood fence and field wire. Field is currently completely cut. You are allowed to drive your vehicle in to the field without having to leash your pup! It’s such a large area that waste removal isn’t required unless it happens right in front of you. If that happens, please dispose of over the fence. Shovel provided a entry. Just for your information. This “farmette” is in a neighborhood so there may be other dogs in other peoples yards that you might hear. We also have a family dog that might be visible occasionally in our own private yard, far away and totally separate from the Sniffspot. If your pet is very sensitive and can’t deal with even the site of and or hearing another animal, unfortunately this is not the spot for you. Finally, we are a community of pet lovers and we all pull together and support each other positively . If you have any issues at all, please reach out to me and I will make it right . We have received 1 out of 100 less than stellar review left simply because our family dog was let out in our front yard totally separate from the Sniffspot for five minutes and I just don’t want there to be any other negative experiences. Greene Lake Acres Private Dog Park In Stephens City

Welcome to Greek Lake Acres! We are located in Stephens City and we have 23 acres in total. About 5 acres are open grassy fields with an acre sized pond for swimming in the middle, surrounded by woods, complete with a few trails. Feel free to message me after booking for directions- GPS can sometimes try to take you through Lake Fredrick and you can NOT get to us from there. (Google GPS works best to find us) The lake is "swim at your own risk" as we do not have a life guard on duty. The water edge slopes so you can come out with ease. There is NO FISHING permitted in the pond. Again, there is no lifeguard on duty, dogs swim at the responsibility/risk of their owner. Picnic tables are available near the waters edge and also in the trees next to the pond for shade. On the picnic table we have some floating toys for retrieving and also some sanitary bags if you need any. We are pesticide and fertilizer free, so please make sure you have tick/flea preventative because ticks love the woods! We are not fenced in, so recall is very important. The neighbors do have dogs, some wander so friendliness is important. We have chickens who live in their coop, who will remain safe in their coop during your visit. The property does have an abundance of wild life, including but not limited to deer, turkey, geese, ducks, squirrels and fox, but they do not stay around humans or dogs. Parking is on the lake side driveway near the green sign (see photos) Please note we are often outside enjoying our property as well. If you look at the photos, we typically stay in the “red X” area. If we have guests, our dogs are secured in the house. We can’t wait to see you!
