This is a hobby farm that is not child proofed or baby proofed and people tend to not pay as close attention to children and they wander, it’s a big safety concern for me. Sorry. 3 acres of grass, trails, woods with many different trees and a lake spread across 12 acres of land in southwest Callahan. A private secluded sanctuary where you might see some deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, fish and maybe even some other wildlife depending on what time you come to visit. If you like nature with a country setting, you and your pets will love it here. So bring your pets and come on over and enjoy your visit.

Half Acre rectangle, fully fenced with cattle fence and wood fenced mixed, both wired so smaller dogs can't get through. Water tank and hose available. Poop bags provided. Welcome to Feathered Fields! We are a family run farm with almost 6 acres of lush field for your pups to run and play. As a newly established “venue” we welcome feedback and ideas to expand on a comfortable, safe and fun experience for you and your pets! Currently we do not have electricity or water access on the field so we encourage all guests to bring proper hydration for your pets. Poop bags and a trash can are provided (see photos) but all guests are encouraged to provide their own supplies of course, if possible. Designated parking area for guests will be marked with RESERVED signs and a temporary key code will be assigned to guests for accessing the field during their allotted time. Feel free to bring your pups’ favorite toys! Firearms and live fires are not permitted on the property at any time! If desired, guests can bring chairs or sit back on the logs in the field and enjoy the sun while your pups have the time of their lives! Our yard is only 3-4 minutes from Interstate I-75, and about 15 minutes from I-10, & we are easy to find! We live on five acres. Tucked away off of 27 or (SR 45) on a dirt road. If you are planning a day at the springs, we are located 20 min from Poe, blue, Ginnie and Rum Island springs. The property is not completely fenced. We have a picnic table under a muscadine grape vine or a open fire pit area to relax. If I am home I will give access to my restroom in my house. I have 2 small dogs, 2 cats, chickens, ducks and rabbits. They will be secured in enclosures before you arrive. I am starting a hobby pond, it does have a liner with water and pump, but that's it. Not great for swimming, but makes for a giant bone shaped water bowl. You can park next to carport and have fun with your fur baby. P.S. basket on side of carport will include doggie bags, hand sanitizer, bug spray for humans, doggie treats, cooler with cold water. I have water bowls available. Access to water hose as well. Old towels to clean paws and shoes.
