It was our first time ever doing sniff spot and this place was wonderful! The whole yard is securely fenced in so I had no worries about my girls getting out. The terrain is a bit rough so make sure you're prepared with good shoes! I was also a bit nervous with my girls going down the ditch looking area but they were fine and listened well!

Rob’s place was great. Easy access and great communication from host. You can park in his driveway and gate to backyard is right there. Property perfect for our dog, Australian Shepherd, to romp around and follow me as I walked around the property. Great views! We will come back!

As advertised, a really nice, dog friendly, pool, with a large step or deck when you enter the pool and two small benches type steps in the pool, water temperature was perfect, cool enough to be refreshing but not cold. We will be visiting robs pool again

Rob is very responsive and attentive to messages. The acreage was amazing for the dogs to run around and investigate. The pool was the main reason we were there and was definitely worth it! It was also a plus that the pool is fenced in it's own area especially after one of my dogs discovered the chicken coop. It was nice to be able to contain her and not let her bother the chickens! We will be back!

Well that was fun! Bowie and I had a great time exploring this property. Bring your hiking boots guys, this is off trail hills. You start on the Santa Margarita Trail and her property has a Sniffspot sign so you can easily identify where you can enter. The property is beautiful grass covered hills. Even though theres no fence there are natural barriers to discourage runaways, but definitely a property for only dogs who keep there humans in sight. Did not see any other humans or animals once we met with the property owner. Just stunning, huge and secluded. Carolyn left out water for the pup and a chair for me. All the up and down was both a workout for both of us. She has horses on the property but they are secure with a thick wire fence and off to the side. The only things to be cautious of is if your dog is a eater, Because of all the recent rain there were big mushrooms everywhere. Great experience, we'll be back!

SUCH a beautiful property with the most wonderful, relaxing view. It was easy to get here, and the owner very kindly messaged me with clear instructions on where to park, which road to walk, and where the sniffspot entrance is. Long grass but no signs of snakes or other threatening wildlife. It is a pretty steep spot though, so definitely wear sturdy shoes as instructed in her post. I would give more than 5 stars if possible, and will definitely return :)

this was our 5th sniff spot and definitely my favorite Jupiter, venus, and raja had a really good time playing and running around together and the place was beautiful! the place was just as we expected if not better! though if you think your dog could get lost easily or might run away, it might be best to consider another place but great for us

Super fun spot with a great view! Be sure to read the description carefully and bring a long line if your pup isn't ready for fully off-leash time in an unfenced area, but this was a great place for fetch and exposure to the adorable horses and goats in the adjacent field. We'll definitely be back! :)

This was our first sniff spot experience and the boys LOVED it. The High grass, mountain breeze, and birds chirping were amazing. I wore simply running shoes and it was good! Make sure to wear long clothes and high socks, long sleeves and check yourself and your pups for ticks after as the grass/ greenery is very high and perfect condition for ticks. But that’s a given anywhere. The spot had two chairs and a dog bowl which was great! It’s not fenced as mentioned but the trees surrounding it keep the dogs in pretty well. If your dog doesn’t have recall I don’t recommend, as the trail to Santa margarita river preserve runs right past it, and they can easily run away. We will definitely come back it was amazing!!

This location was great! Our two pups enjoyed exploring the large years and checking out the chickens and running along the back fence with the neighbor’s dogs. The area was large and free from foxtails, which is a huge bonus. We look forward to visiting again soon!

This is our second time coming to this sniff spot and the pups loved it just as much as the first time! Love that there aren’t any foxtails to have to worry about (our youngest loves to eat them.. ugh)! I love that this place gives them exposure to things they don’t normally encounter (chickens, donkey’s, turkey’s and other livestock). I love how much open space there is to just run. I also enjoy walking around the path and seeing all the different trees and succulents they have planted. We will definitely continue to come here!

My dogs had such a great time. The neighbors dogs did bark quite a bit. You could see them come up to the fence and bark, so just something to keep in mind if your pup is reactive to other dogs. Overall is was great!

Bentley loved this spot, it’s funny how a spot can be same size, yet he’ll like some more than others. He had fun running around and there’s no weeds, so you don’t have to worry about foxtails or ticks that are in season right now. Neighbors do have dogs, so if your dog is reactive that could be an issue, but Bentley enjoyed racing with them. We will be back

We live in Anaheim and with fireworks being legal and constant there, we were on the hunt for some quieter areas for our girls with the holiday today. This sniffspot was perfect and had water ready for us on a hot day. No stickers or foxtails so we were stress-free and enjoyed the smells and open space. Would love to visit again when the opportunity arises!

Would not recommend for reactive dogs (chickens inside Sniffspot, neighbors sharing fence has 2 visible, loud dogs), but our nonreactive dogs had a great time interacting with the other animals! The host was very responsive. The fence was secure for our dogs of various sizes and personalities. There were 2 full, clean water bowls.

Wow, this place was amazing! I’m not sure who liked it more, me or my dog! Not only did my dog have the time of his life, but I felt like I was at a private resort. He’s not the best swimmer, but with the big beach entrance and the huge step, he felt safe and he had a blast playing in the water. He also loved the big grassy yard. I don’t think he stopped running the entire time we were there. There were so many fun things for us to look at, like the koi pond and the bird aviary. After we got home, he was so exhausted that he barely moved until the next day. I can’t wait until the weather is a little warmer and we can swim in the pool together!! I will definitely be back.

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon. Lisa was responsive and had clear instructions to follow to park and and access the yard. This is the backyard of my dreams and my dog loved splashin’ around in the pool. We will be back and recommending this spot to other sniffspotters. Thanks again!
