Pond in the Pines

Fully Fenced
2.5 acres

Our space is roughly 2 fenced-in acres. 1 acre is a field, and the other is a 1-acre surface area pond. This pond is between 1 - 7 feet deep in some places, so dogs love swimming and running around. The pond is safe for pups to swim in and drink from! We have 10 dogs of our own who LOVE to play in the pond, so we make sure it is as safe as we can. There are no Gators, Snappers, or Blue/Green Algae! We DO have chickens and ducks on the property, but they will be fenced in a separate area during any visits. Please know that we are a very new Sniffspot! We are always working on making things better. Please let us know if you need anything! Parking is on grass, not on concrete. Parking is between the fence and the bush. This spot is not handicap accessible due to the terrain. Please note we DO HAVE A CAMERA in our field for wildlife protection. This camera auto-tracks movement. Feel free to join our Facebook Community: Pond in the Pines Community

55Amy’s place is an absolute dream and a godsend for our current situation. We literally just moved to Augusta Georgia about a week and a half ago to supposedly a house with a fully fenced in yard but it fell through two days before arriving in town due to a pest control issue on their side. It left us scrambling to find a place to live in a few days and had to take an apartment short term for now. I have two big dogs that are higher energy and have never lived in an apartment. I remember seeing this app online, but never really looked into it until now and signed up due to our current situation. Her house is an easy 1 Hour drive from Augusta so I’ve been taking the dogs here now the last two weekends on Saturday. I’m so grateful that they shared their little slice of heaven with everybody else in difficult situations with dogs or they don’t have a place to go or like dog parks. There has not been one issue. There are no pets around or side neighbors to have to worry about if they have dogs and what the temperament might be. It has always been freshly cut beautifully maintained and has literally thought of every little detail that is such a small easy thing to do, but makes a dog owner’s life so much easier. There’s a wonderful little self watering bowl, a place to dispose of poo bags, poo bags in case you need them and even thought of putting little hooks out by the gate so you have a place to hang your leashes. There’s some toys and tennis balls and even a chuck it stick. We literally don’t have to bring any of that stuff that we own to come there. The porch swing and little covered area is absolutely wonderful for me and the dogs to get out of the sun after playing hard. There’s a fun toy on a clothesline that my dogs have been having a blast trying to figure out how to use lol, and even had a big toe treats and a puzzle game, which my dogs are familiar with in love and now keep going to it. Today was our second time here and I already have next Saturday booked. I’m gonna try and keep up with this as long as I can at least once a week to burn off all the energy we can’t get out from walks around the apartment complex. I just wish I lived closer or it was a little closer, but that’s just the situation we’re in hopefully it won’t be for longer than the six month lease. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

55This was my first time using Sniffspot and I absolutely loved it! The yard was fully fenced and secure, which gave my dog plenty of space to run safely. I especially appreciated the covered seating area as it was perfect for relaxing while my dog got water (which they provided) and cooled off in the shade. One note for fellow dog owners if your dog is like mine and loves to put random things in their mouth there’s a hickory tree in the back that drops quite a few nuts. They aren’t poisonous as far as I could find online but you may want to keep an eye on your dog in that area. The host provided plenty of fun toys, and I brought along some of my dog’s favorites too. Overall, this spot was cozy, thoughtful, and such a great find. We’ll definitely be back!

FAQ About Gilbert dog park

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 29% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Gilbert area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
