Large and long space to run and play, can accommodate several dogs together. Shaded areas, sunny areas, areas with sticks and limbs. Nothing fancy but great for dog play. Mostly flat. Mostly mowed but small areas with tall grass sometimes for hiding since some dogs really know that. The spot is outside so there are bugs present sometimes certain times of the year- ticks, spiders, mosquitos, flies, gnats, etc. We are also directly next door to a lake which can increase the amount of mosquitos because they are attracted to water, please plan accordingly and bring bug repellant. Quiet area, very close to 264. The little swimming pool pictures is not typically present. *This is not doggie daycare- owners must be present with their pet(s) at all times. Outbuildings and cellar are private- no people or pets are to enter the those spaces. We live off a private drive with 30 acres of woods. We have both a 5 ft fenced in front yard plus in the process of fencing in the open acerage in back yard. We also have trails on our property that you can walk/hike while observing wildlife. We are currently cleaning our large kiddie pool that had been used previously for our big dogs. We can provide Johnsons Baby shampoo and towels if you would like to give your dog a bath in it. We will have camping chairs available to sit and relax while watching your dog run around our fenced in yard. We will also provide bottles of water for you to drink if thirsty besides bucket of fresh water for your dog/dogs. There are ticks in the woods so be sure to have flea/tick preventative on your dog/dogs.

Carter’s Private Dog Park allows dogs to explore the trails and creeks in the woods area, walk the 1/2 mile gravel driveway, play in acres of grass fields, and enjoy the obstacles set up for our sister horse obstacle course (Alliance Equine Obstacle Course) where all are located on a private, gated (BUT not fenced) 36 plus acre farm. You will need to keep dogs leashed to stay on the farm property and not roam onto neighbors land. Please note horses and cats are also on site. Additional fully fenced field (appx 1/2 acre) can be added as an extra where your dog can be off leash. Please pick up after your pet at all times and areas. Water is available for drinking for dogs from a hose near the parking area (bring own bowls) or creeks (at times) in the woods. Outdoor Bath area (not heated) is an extra if planning to have your dog swim in the pond and wash before leaving. Owners must bring own dog shampoo and towels.
