55I highly recommend this place! A friend & I took our labs and they had a blast. The pond is pretty deep & gets deep fast, which was fine because both of our dogs are swimmers, but something worth noting. You should definitely wear play clothes & old shoes because you’re going to get dirty! And bring bug spray! But, it is a very well thought out dog park. It is fully fenced in, there are covered shelters which you’ll be super thankful for, there are toys and kiddie pools, and the dog wash station far exceeded our expectations! Plenty of land to roam around & the pond is more than big enough for your dog to take laps in. For us it would be a positive to be able to work in sight of another dog but at a good distance/with space to play and work on reactivity if that’s something you’re training for. The other park was empty while we were there, but even our reactive dog would have been okay with the amount of space between the two and the room to play on our side- I actually think it would have been a positive experience for her had there been others.
