"This field is huge! My dogs had an amazing time running around and exploring 😍 There is shade under the trees, and the part that wasn't fenced in wasn't an issue for us. If your dogs don't have solid recall, stick to the fenced side. The whole place is so big, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good amount of walking/running in, without coming too close to the un-fenced side. I walked around for about 2 miles, and I'm guessing my dogs probably did twice that 😆 The host was nice and allowed extra time, because I took a wrong turn coming there and was late to my booked time. We will definitely be back."

We also ask that you please leave any dirty tennis balls in the blue tub with soapy water, located on the other side of the fence, to keep them fresh for the next guest. Two beautiful horses have moved in next door! While they are not always visible, you might hear a friendly “hee” every now and then. To ensure a harmonious environment for everyone, we kindly request that you maintain a distance of at least 5 feet from our neighbor’s fence at the top of the property. A few “heads up” about our spot: - the path to get to backyard is a bit steep. 👟Perhaps plan to wear appropriate footwear🙃 -like most places in San Diego there’s a possibility of snakes and we did have a recent sighting, so please use caution - the fencing on bottom right of yard is a different material, but still secure without any ways for pups to get out, but it can at times shift with weather and may be more possibilities for a pup to go under (I try and check often)🌿 - on the bottom left of the yard their are fire stick succulents🌱 on my neighbors property-the sap of these plants are toxic, so best to stay away! -lastly, if you are planning to come on a weekend morning- our neighbors typically play pickle ball at this time which can be a bit noisy and a distraction to some pups- they’re usually done by 11am. Our property is double-fenced, which brings peace-of-mind to our guests. The top patio area, where you will enter and exit, is fully-fenced and secure, as is the lower yard with its own gate. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. Street parking is always available either right in front of our house or close by. You will have private access through a side gate to our backyard. Dogs love to run up and down the dirt slope in our yard to chase balls and expend their energy. The slope leads to our flat, lower dirt yard which is perfect for your dogs to run free and explore. We do have a turf area under the play structure, as well as inside the enrichment area. This private yard is a flat, quiet, accessible, fully fenced space for your dog to run and play. There are no other dogs on this property. Note that in the winter and spring, the lawn is mostly green (weeds). In the summer and fall, it’s mostly dirt, hence the variety of landscape photos. I don’t grow anything of my own on the lawn or spray any pesticides, so that’s how the land naturally grows and changes based on the season. The Rancho Bernardo Dog Park in San Diego, California is a fully-fenced enclosure for off-leash play. Fully Fenced Private Yard (centrally located near SDSU)

Chain link on both sides allows views into neighbors’ yards, both of whom have dogs and one of whom have kids. They are rarely in their yards. The back of the yard that borders the canyon is a wooden fence which you cannot see through. You need to park at the bottom of the hill on a different street and walk up the path to access the back of the yard and I will leave the gate unlocked for you. I will send more detailed directions when you book. Do not park in front of my house. I will ensure my dogs are inside when sniff spots are booked but if they see your dogs out the window they may bark. I will leave out some bowls of water and per your request can fill a kiddie pool with water for swimming at the top of the hill closest to my house. You will not have hose access. Please do not enter the astroturf section of my backyard that borders the house and has a separate fence.
