55Love this place so much - it is absolutely stunning and so serene. Most of it is a fairly gentle, flat walk, and George does an incredible job keeping the trails in good shape. Dogs will love having so much space to run and splash in the creek, and there are lots of spots for their people to sit and take a break in the shade under the trees.
If your dog is at all reactive to people, make sure to connect with George in advance, as sometimes his neighbour is walking on the trails. If your dog's recall isn't super solid, keep them on leash until you are out of sight of the house, as there are a couple of trails at the beginning of the walk that pass relatively near the house: if people or vehicles moving around the house area or the smell/sound of George's dog might be an attraction to your pup, you'll want to make sure they can't head that direction. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
