Welcome to the all new Doggy Pool Paradise! 🐶💦 The spot was started in honor of my sweet Bailey who just passed away Easter weekend only 1 month shy of her 12th birthday. 💔 She was my soul dog and the primary reason I bought a house with a pool. Now I just want to see other dogs using it and having fun. 🐾🥰 This is a completely fenced area with deck, patio, sunroom and 18x36 in ground pool. Let your dog swim safely and securely in the salt water pool (no harsh chlorine). Kiddie pool is also available for dogs who are unsure about the "Big" pool - set up, fresh water, and cleaning afterwards for a small fee choose this in the Extras section. . Doggy life jackets in Small, Medium, Large, and XL are available. Plenty of seating and shade available. Mini fridge with cold bottled water for only $1 each located in the sunroom (choose this in the Extras section ). Brand new fun Dog water toys, dog towels, large blue dog pool float "Woof", water bowls and pool ramp available to use at no extra charge. Please bring your own sunscreen. NOTE: Sorry, no bathroom will be available for humans. Dogs must be current on Rabies and other vaccines and be on some sort of flea & tick preventative!! These must be sent to the host before your visit. Screenshots are accepted. Poop bags & clean-up station provided near the gated entrance. All owners must pick up after their dogs in and out of the pool area!! Violators will not be allowed to return. There are security cameras on the premises. Max of two people (adults) per dog unless otherwise arranged with Host. If You are bringing more than one dog, they must already know each other and get along! It is highly recommended that you brush your dog before your visit. If excessive fur in the filter becomes a problem then this sniff spot will unfortunately no longer be available. Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! This is not just our yard; it is our field to the side of our house and a little more than half an acre is fenced. Another 5 1/2 acres offers privacy and serenity. There are plenty of other Sniffspots that will suit your reactive dog’s needs. We are located in Southern Guilford County, just 2 miles off Interstates 85 and 73 and 5 miles from Wendover Ave with easy access. We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned and heated interior room with refrigerator and snacks to purchase. We have comfortable furniture including a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We have no cameras. Your privacy is very important to us. Your dog can do nothing wrong here. Let them Dig, Bark, Sniff and Play. Everything begins at our Sunflower She Shed. You will find everything you need there. For people Extras are available such as snacks and cold drinks and frozen ice cream found in the Sunflower She Shed refrigerator/freezer. Feel free to use any of the provided dog toys including balls with a launch stick, frisbee, or toys. Or just simply relax in the hammock or the shaded table and chairs while your pets run around and explore within the fully fenced 1 acre area. This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Backyard for small to big dogs includes a hill. Some toys, summertime splash pad and kiddie pool available. Dog waste station available on street side of property outside of fenced area.
