Wow!! What an amazing Sniffspot! The terrain is varied and fun, with wooded paths, gardens, a small meadow, and lots of rock formations to climb on. The fencing is excellent. The parking is right near the gate-making in and out very easy. The host is excellent-she was attentive and oriented me to the spot when I arrived. This spot has specific requirements for visiting that were very clearly spelled out so pay attention to that and have your ducks in a row at your first visit for the best experience. We did hear some dogs from a distance and we heard muffled gunfire from a shooting range. It was not that loud and I actually found it to be a perfect opportunity to desensitize my dogs with the “bang-meatball” game in a natural environment where they could move around naturally off-leash but were not in danger of running off the property. It worked beautifully and both dogs stopped paying attention to the gunfire pretty quickly. We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to return!

My boys loved it there. They go at different paces, but one was safe to sniff everything as fast as he wanted and the other was able to mosey as he wishes. Although my boys weren’t interested, Jen had fresh water and toys available, and also offered a kiddie pool. My boys were so exhausted from all the exploring that they were ready to go home after about 40 minutes. We will definitely be back! P.S. one of my boys is reactive and the owner’s dog Yogi had barked from the window when we arrived, but she was able to keep him from that window during our visit, so my reactive boy was able to happily go about his business ☺️
