The .36 acre yard is fully fenced in with several access gates. There’s trash cans outside the gate for poop bag disposal, poop bags available for use, table/chairs/umbrella for relaxing, and kid toys such as sand box, trampoline and soccer net available for use. I run a pet sitting business out of my home and frequently have other friendly playful dogs over. I can keep them in, or I can let them out for extra play time and exercise. The yard is maintained weekly, and no weed killer, fertilizer, or pesticides of any type are used.

For the humans we have a picnic table and two lounge chairs for relaxation. Special note for June and July: it’s mulberry season, and boy have we got ‘em (fortunately they are not toxic to dogs). Please note that our parking spot and part of our Sniffspot are covered by mulberry trees, so you *will* get berries on your shoes. Dress accordingly! 👍🏼

Bring your dog(s) to run, play or train. We provide dog water, a few toys, shelter and shade. There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! FYI: we do live in a rural area, during hunting season you may hear gun shots in the distance. 🔥 propane heater now available for use in the fall and winter. Please just turn it off when not in use to conserve propane.

We have a large backyard with a privacy fence and a new patio to relax while you watch your dog play and sniff around! There is a larger doggie pool that can be filled with fresh water upon request! We would love to have you visit! The garage will be open upon visit and you may enter through the door leading to the backyard. With the new dog respiratory illness, I will be doing a small screening asking if any dog visitors have displayed any symptoms. Also, there are 2 chairs on the patio but the couch has been put away for the winter :)

Reach out with anything you need and I will make sure to provide the best I can for you and your pup! I hardly use the backyard at all except to add leaves or compost to the compost tumbler or occasionally to mow. That means it is all yours. This spot is definitely OPEN and no need to verify that with me beforehand. I will mark if it is occupied. Beautiful and serene location. Enjoy the privacy of this country setting in Canton. Over 450ft of six foot picket fencing guarantees a private and safe park for you and your dog. We just re-opened after adding 450 feet of fencing and re-seeding the lawn. We are now triple the size of our previous park! There is a smaller fenced off area in the very back if you wanted to separate smaller dogs from larger dogs that are playing. Patio with table and seating. She's friendly with both dogs and people, but please do not interact with her out of courtesy for them.😁 2.)Please include pics of your pups in the review!📸 3.) You can put any poop bags in the pot by the back porch door💩 4.) You can enter from either side of the gate. PLEASE CHECK BOTH GATES TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE LOCKED BEFORE LETTING YOUR DOG LOOSE!! 5.) You're free to use the hose, which is located behind the willow tree where the kiddie pool is also located 6.) Your dog is allowed to roam WHEREVER in my yard 7.) Regardless if your dog is friendly or not, no one, including dogs, will not be in my yard while you're there, nor near windows 8.) It's best if you book in advance at least 1 hour, preferably so I can let anyone know in advance. 9.) I offer memberships 10.) Please be on the lookout for holes and other possible risks 11.) I currently moved. I've been seeing complaints of dog poop and I wholeheartedly apologize. My dad cares for the yard now, and I'll make sure to let him know if I see more complaints! 12.) The back property is L-shaped. The majority is open space so plenty of room for zoomies and catch. There is some bushes, wild areas, and trees to experience new smells, and play hide-n-seek. FYI - Bring water. The spigot was turned off for the season. Our requests: 1) Please do not park in the driveway. Street parking only. 2) Pick up your dog's 💩. Pooper scooper and small trash can is provided 🚮 3) No digging anywhere, even if it appears to be bare. 4) No smoking 🚭 Be sure to walk all the way to the back fence to see our Heritage Grandfather Oak (Tree) that's over 200 years old! We plan on staying open year round as long as weather permits. As the weather is changing and days are getting shorter please book no later than 6:30pm. 🐶 If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place for your fur babies to play you have found the right spot. This is a great spot for reactive dogs and non socials as I am situated on 5 acres and 2 of the acres are fully fenced for the SniffSpot. My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires and an A Frame ladder). Zada Oasis - a little slice of heaven on the edge of Rochester Hills, Troy, and Auburn Hills. Relax to the sound of our neighbor's bubbling pond and feel like you truly enter your own private world in this space. In addition to our fully fenced-in backyard, we also own the woods behind. They are an option to adventure through if you'd like to keep your pup(s) leashed. Please keep in mind this additional wooded area is not fenced in, and would only be walkable during the dry season.
