55My husband and I took our 2-year old Boxer here for some much needed playtime and had a blast. We brought our own ball and frisbees but there are dog toys there for your use. There is also a small jump obstacle in the middle of the space if your dog likes to jump…ours definitely does! The host was briefly there installing a poop station and seemed friendly. Our Boxer definitely thought so! Not much in the way of shade which was fine for us in the winter. It was a lovely day and we look forward to going back with another doggie friend. Shelley W.

55This field was absolutely beautiful and the ground was nice and dry. So many spots to sniff and plenty of area to run. We had a great time however if you have a reactive pooch there were 2 shelty-type dogs that came right up to the fence to check on my boys. It is just a wire/wood frame fence and short so if your pup couldn’t handle that then just be aware. The 2 dogs were well behaved and ran back home after 2-3 minutes. The fence is secure but short. My three boys had a total blast. Well worth the drive. Go the long way there! The drive is gorgeous. Kira H.

55SniffSpot was easy to find and Kathi was responsive to questions prior to our first visit. Nice large open field for dogs to run, sniff, and play. Owner provides dog toys and an AMAZING dog poop container with bags!! We brought our own water based on other reviews. Will definitely be adding this SniffSpot to the mix. Access to water (a water hose) and shade would be nice, but for an hour it’s not an issue most of the year. Thank you for sharing your space with us; it is appreciated!Melissa M.

55Had a good time here for our second visit. Owner added a picnic style table and a water hose. There are three dogs that came out for a short while, one of who was a barker. This did allow for some practice with our reactive boy (on a leash) that we found to be helpful. Thanks again!Melissa M.

55Great open spot with lots of room to run. I wanted a large space to practice recall, and it fit the bill. The hose wasn't turned on during my visit, so I recommend bringing some extra water just in case. My girl came home nice and tired.Marcia M.

FAQ about our Pleasant Grove dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Pleasant Grove area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 125 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 15 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
