Welcome to one of Bend's best off-leash play areas: a 1.75-acre pasture that is partially fenced and provides clean canal access right in the middle of the pasture for water breaks (canal is active April-October). Note, this pasture is only fenced on three sides. We welcome for your pup(s) to play alone, or if dog-friendly, play with our 1-yr & 5-yr old Mini Aussie pups (please advise your preference when booking). Our neighbors have goats, horses and chickens nearby, but they are in a fenced area and not directly against our property. Your visit offers perfect space for chuck-it sessions with canal breaks and tons of lush, pasture grass. A poop-scoop and trash bin are provided.

Easy to find. The yard is plenty big enough to let the pup get out all of their energy. Didn't get to enjoy the waterfront on this trip, but it looks like a nice spot.

Cedar and I had a wonderful time at Ray's Riverfront. Amy left a bag of goodies including dog bags, toys, water, towels, hand sanitizer, and more. The area was lovely with a cool breeze coming off the water and there are chairs and an umbrella. Cedar went swimming, chased after balls, and laid in the grass. We both give it 5 stars!

Such a nice spot! Very easy to find. Amy packed us a goodie bags with toys, towels, water and more! Definitely bring some bug spray if you’re coming during warmer weather haha otherwise it’s a great place. Our dogs had a blast running around and swimming :)

Chance had a great time! Beautiful spot. Mosquitoes were out, but after reading other reviews I was prepared. The edge was a little steep for my 10yo dog, but he really enjoyed himself. May have missed the trash can for waste disposal. We’ll likely book again!

Having a dog/human reactive dog means not being able to run around at the dog park. I’m so happy we found this nice little area for our dogs to run around and swim and just be dogs. We will definitely return!

Secure riverfront spot. Slow, meandering, swimmable & fun spot with easy pup & people access to the river. Well-kept & clean. Relaxing spot for furkids & their hoomans, even little ones. Frogs & crawdads on the sandy bottom. We'll be back.

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
