Sammy's Safe Spot Training and Recreation Facility | Sniffspot
55We’ve been to this Sniffspot three times now, including once to celebrate our dog Leroy’s birthday! It’s such a nice space with plenty of room for our two dogs to explore, sniff, and play. The yard is large, secure, and has a nice mix of open space and shade, which we really appreciate on warmer days.
Our dogs are a bit sensitive/reactive, so we’re always looking for private places to let them decompress, and this spot has worked out really well for that. Easy access, great communication from the host, and a peaceful environment made each visit stress-free.
We had one little paw incident with a bee (just one of those unlucky dog things), but overall this has been a great space for safe, private outdoor time. Definitely one of our go-to Sniffspots and one we’ll keep returning to!Sierra C.

55Pool was nice, it was clean and there were toys provided. Yard was ok, could use some weed wacking on back sides of pool my dog kept trying to go back there and I couldn't see what was on ground so had to keep calling him back to me, he is young though and curious. We enjoyed the experience and my dog got a chance to try swimming in a controlled environment. He was scared at first but willingly jumped in a couple times at the end, we will try again soon. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
