55Ryan's place was huge, safe, and clean. There were cute aminities like cloth tunnels and balls for the dogs, and even a rope swing for kids.
We encountered a yorkie at the back fence, but after only a minute or so, a sweet little girl came out and took the dog away, apologizing. Then about 10 minutes later, we encountered a bigger dog on the side fence. My dog made eye contact with it, and they began bouncing around like they wanted to play. Then the dog just impulsively ran off! My dog is dog-reactive and it would have been a concern if I had known that she would see and hear dogs, but these two experiences did not create a problem for us at all.
Also when we got there, we had trouble latching the gate behind us. We texted Ryan and he responded quickly, but he didn't acknowledge that we were having trouble with the gate. He just told us to have fun. It ended up being fine. We figured out the gate and all was well. Connie S.

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
