The very large grass pasture at the top of the hill is edged with wild brush (and a very old 4 foot page wire fence) is all on the outside perimeter, the only open spot is the 2 front gates. But recall is good to have as I don’t completely trust fences as I’ve seen some pretty good escape artists get over much higher wooden fences. There are 2 smaller pastures at the bottom of the hill before the bush areas as well, and one side has a little bit of a pond/standing water on it. You could also see some wildlife on your walk. Such a great, clean, big spot. My 3 dogs were constantly sniffing and finding all the great sticks. Love that there's so many trees and bushes. There was extra toys at the entrance. Location was incredibly easy to find and Terra was great. She saw that I was disabled in my bio, and let me know ahead of time a barrier that might be difficult for myself. That was so nice, knowing she read my bio, beforehand. This is a great location for myself and my service dog to come and play safely. If you need a safe spot on the north side, this is it!

Phenomenal spot. Our pup loved it. We loved being able to book the same day. The spot was spacious, clean, and lots of great toys! Our pup especially loved the pool (it was her first time!). Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
