Our fenced in property with a orchard and large open space has been adored by many dogs and other pets we have cared for many years. We respect and understand how important it is to interact with your dog in a protected safe area with out worry of having a stressful issue with your dog and another dog or person. We live on a private road and the traffic is limited. All dogs that visit our yard appear to go home happy and content and always run straight for the yard when they come back!

Monkton Community Dog Park

The Monkton Community Dog Park is located on Pond Road in Monkton, Vermont. The park is unfenced and requires that dogs be licensed, vaccinated, and healthy. Rules include keeping dogs in sight, limiting to 2 dogs per adult, minimizing barking, and picking up waste. Dogs in heat and under 12 weeks old are prohibited, as well as aggressive dogs. Freedom Park

Freedom Park in North Ferrisburgh, Vermont is an unfenced dog park located at 2515 Rotax Rd. Visitors are reminded to always check the perimeter for security before letting their dogs off leash and to pick up after their pets, leaving the park as they found it. Dogs must be current on vaccinations and a parasite-free fecal test. Other rules include staying with your dog at all times, limiting to 4 dogs at once, managing excessive barking, and respecting reservation times. Amenities include small dog area and a field. Island Oasis Private Dog Park

New, fully fenced half acre mowed field. Plenty of space for your dog(s) to stretch their legs and get out all their zoomies! Plenty of toys, drinking water and places to investigate! Fence is 4ft high with wooden footboard. Fence is welded metal…..Your dog(s) will be safe and contained. Park located ~1 mile down a dead end dirt road with minimal car traffic and moderate pedestrian traffic. West side of park parallels road with a steep bank and ~15ft separating it. To the South is hayfield and our house is to the North. Our house is ~30ft from North side of park, but fully visible. To the East, enjoy views of Georgia Mountain and Mount Mansfield (in Winter months). Pooper scooper, poop bags, hand sanitizer and receptacle available but please pack in pack out all other trash. We are conveniently located off of Interstate’s 89 and 91, great for travelers who are passing through and whose pups need a break from the car ride! We have 2 lovable dogs who enjoy our fully fenced in front yard. We have 2 shade trees, water available as well as chairs for their humans. We are located in a neighborhood with frequent dog walkers and kids playing.

Lakeside Meadows in Putnam Station

Let your dog run wild and play on our hay meadows in Putnam Station NY. Spot is woman owned and operated, features seclusion and great visibility for a safe, rural experience (please see the map included in the listing). Wide open meadows are beautiful and convenient to NY 22 on a quiet country road. Easy, paved access from the Eastern shores Lake George NY, near Fort Ticonderoga, and the Western Shore of Lake Champlain. Dog owner DOES NOT need to clean up pet waste at our spot ;D Your pet's poo is a beneficial deterrent against crop damage and helps keep deer from hiding their fawns in the meadow. You should have leash, voice, or buzz collar control (we have collars available) to protect from escape into the wilderness or out onto the road. Please contact us a day in advance if you would like to borrow buzz collar system or GPS (so we can make sure everything is fully charged). Our town is VERY strict on DCO enforcement - no loose dogs on the road or neighboring properties EVER please, they would probably send you a ticket in the mail! :P If you anticipate having trouble with keeping your dog close upon entering/leaving the meadows please bring your car well within the steel gate to park before letting pooches out onto the meadows - there is a magnificent view toward the end of the access road and space to turn around in dry weather. Water features are available through streams and small ponds at various locations in the woods, also along the lake there are some ponds, for those who want a longer adventure. Pets may dig anywhere along the wooded edge of the meadows, please no digging in the grassland.

Walk, bike or xc ski alongside the Bolton Mountain Range spring fed Mill Brook and enjoy the 360 views on the 4 acres of our farm’s lower field. Ever wonder how a farmer in the 1800’s would think to observe snow more closely?! Even if you are not someone who enjoys the cold, the forms of frozen water that we get here in the snow belt are unable to be described. My favorite season is summer but even the fall foliage doesn’t shake a stick at what it’s like to wake up to everything crystallized in our valley. It is mesmerizing. There is no doubt why this spot in the world sparks us to observe and appreciate more deeply.
