Great spot! So much space to really let them run! Fence was secured and it was easy to find. Plenty of tools to play with but if your dogs are anything like mine, they'll ignore the toys and run! We were there for an hour and a half and don't think we even saw the whole place. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Would be back again!

I have never seen my dogs happier than they were today at Joannie’s spot! My two dogs are both reactive rescues, and have never had been off leash before, other than in our small back yard. Watching them run, play and explore was a joy. Joannie welcomed us at the gate (he is a wonderful host!) and explained how the space is laid out. My one dog can clear a fence with no issues, but this space is so well thought out, with dog behavior and safety in mind. And to top it off, the property is ridiculously beautiful and peaceful, with amazing hill country views at the top. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful visit! Met at the gate by the owner who gave us the ins and outs of the property. Then had a wonderful hike around the property. Very few cacti on the trails and wonderful views. Will be back again.

Joannie was the perfect host. We went with a total of six dogs and they had a ball! There was water available for the pups at the front and plenty of space for them to explore. The area was fenced off and we didn’t worry about them getting out in the road. We basically let them run free, the pups were tired after 30 minutes! 😆

Joannie's place is truly Puppy Paradise! It was our first time visiting and we had no trouble finding the place. Joannie greeted us at the gate to the property and gave us the lay of the land, then we were free to explore! The trails are well-kept and our pup had a great time sniffing, bounding through tall grass, and practicing our automatic check-ins. We are happy to report that our pup didn't pick up any stickers, thorns, burrs, or bugs, which speaks to how much work Joannie puts into maintaining the property. Thank you Joannie for offering a fully-fenced place for our dogs to have safe off-leash time away from other dogs and people.

Fantastic time with my little pack at Puppy Paradise! The land is so intentionally managed for ease and safety in exploration. My dogs don't have the best recall, but the easy hikeable areas are laid out in loops, so it was easy to circle back around to our parking spot - where my biggest wanderer knew he could eventually find me. The hardest part was convincing my little pack to get back into the car at the end of our visit! We'll certainly be back to this little slice of safe, off-leash heaven!

2 hours was not enough time to spend here. There is so much space and so many trails to explore! My puppy had an amazing time and so did I. Aside from all the trails, there are amazing views you just want to sit and soak in. Time really flew by. We also got some plants from the greenhouse! We can’t wait to be back. I'm so glad I found this place! The property is spacious and lovely, with trees and paths to explore and beautiful views, including strategically located seats and tables for human visitors. Our dogs were on cloud nine, exploring and adventuring in a safe place. The owners are wonderful people, kind and friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be making this a go to place for our dogs.

Dixie and I love this place and can’t recommend highly enough! Dixie cannot be off leash and puppy paradise gives her a place to run and I don’t have to worry about losing her or interacting with other people and dogs.

If I could give this place and Joannie 10 stars, I would. This was our first time here and already this is my favorite sniffspot for my pups. I felt the safest here of all the places we've been. Safe personally but also safe in regards to dangerous things my dog could get in to and safe from other dogs or animals (we have a reactive and not dog friendly dog). Joannie is SO kind. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for working so hard for such a beautiful and safe place!
