This fully fenced backyard is fantastic! Our very energetic pitty mix had a blast chasing his ball & frisbee. The fence was tall & secure, as was the gate. Very clean & spacious yard. Bowie can be reactive towards some people & dogs, so it was nice to be out in the country without many of either in sight. We’ll be back. Thank you so much for providing a place where reactive dogs can run around & play!

Henry loved roaming the trails at Bear Creek. This is a perfect spot for dogs to enjoy nature and sniff as they love to do and run and play! Area is very secure and will definitely be back in the future!

This was our first Sniffspot experience and it was absolutely perfect! So many amenities and the fenced in space was exactly what we needed. My dog loves to sniff and run and this location had plenty of space to do both! We were also provided with very clear and simple instructions on how to access the space, making the entire process pain free! We will definitely be booking here again soon!

This was a great place for my boys to run! The landscape was well maintained and offered a lot! My boys weren’t used to running around anything with hills as we live near the coast. They were extra 😴 which allowed for a smooth Christmas Eve night. I, also traveling alone, felt extremely safe with the camera at entry, lock code, and fence!

As always, Captains Retreat at Bear Creek doesn't disappoint!! The new space provides some visual privacy & barrier. Benny and I always love this spot! I was thankful for the cooler of water this trip. It's 45 minutes away from home & I forgot a drink for myself. We just love this place, can't say enough good things about it!

We had an awesome experience today! It was such a treat for the pup to be off leash with so much room to run and explore! The host gave really clear instructions to the property, and communicated with us the recent rain caused a little flooding. There were a lot of nice accommodations (dog toys, treats, insect repellant, etc) and places to sit throughout (the hammocks were wonderful!). The fencing is entirely secure and the layout is really nice. Trails through the wooded area made us feel immersed in nature and the big open field was perfect for fetch. My pup enjoyed trotting through the puddles and smelling all the smells. For a dog-reactive dog, this place is truly a gift. We will certainly be back again!

Fabulous and well maintained property. This retreat is a dog's paradise. We had so much fun exploring the retreat. Everything is absolutely PAWfect! I loved this SniffSpot, and so did my doggos! I loved how secure it was, from pulling into the fully secured parking area to walking the entire fence line, everything was nicely buttoned up. We reported to the owner that we found some broken glass along the property and was informed that the property used to be the location of a house and whoever was there before would bury/burn trash and rain will unearth what is buried. No worries there in my opinion if they're diligent about cleaning up what gets uncovered. The whole place was perfect and definitely worth the 30 minute drive for us.

Benny & I love this spot!! And Tiffany is a great communicator of the mud and water retention from all the recent rain. The spot is still perfectly contained & my pup enjoyed the puddles. We will be back as usual, it's our favorite place!

Another wonderful time! The new fencing and space is awesome and my dogs discovered it and sprinted there before me. It was one of my dogs 3rd bday and the best way to celebrate at their favorite sniff spot! We’ve visited here about 3/4 times and each time it’s immaculate, beautiful and we discover something new. We drive almost an hour each way and it’s worth it! Thank you for sharing this space with us and making my boys so happy!

Great spot for dogs to stretch those legs. Particularly good if you have a sporty runner, like pointer or sight hound. It could also make a nice spot for scent work practice. The grill and doggie washing station are a nice touch for better weather.
