DOGNACULAR JOULE'S - a dog & people private paradise in Hartsfield, GA... 3.25 acres w/1 acre pond, fully enclosed by 5' fence, exceptional beauty, great location
DOGNACULAR JOULE'S is an exceptional private dog park; however it is not just a dog park. No other private dog parks can compare. DOGNACULAR is a SPECTACULAR PLACE FOR DOGS! It is an extremely well-maintained 3.25 acres in a rural area. Its peaceful, beautiful, and functional atmosphere will wow you. If you want a sterile, impersonal park in a city or suburbs, this is not the place for you. DOGNACULAR is natural but not 'wild.' In addition to its one acre pond, mowed grassy areas, mowed area that surrounds most of the pond, flower beds, and wide covered porches with ceiling fans, there are several wooded areas, each of which is meticulously maintained. The wooded areas are kept clean of tree debris except some have beds of pine needles and leaves. Tree debris such as fallen branches, sticks, twigs, pinecones, squirrel-stripped pinecones, and tree bark are picked up daily. Of course, dog poop is picked up immediately. DOGNACULAR is aimed primarily at fulfilling the needs of the following: ■ Everyone who wants a safe and beautiful place to bring their dogs, with an acre pond, open grassy areas, and wooded land. Local guests have come from as far as northern Florida. Others have come from as far as Texas and California. ■ HUNT TEST & FIELD TRIAL people who are in the area to train or attend events. Your dogs safely can air, without the hazards of public areas. ■ BIRD HUNTERS. ■ LOCAL DOG OWNERS. This spot is perfect, especially for folks who do not have fences to give their dogs a chance to run and play SAFELY. Joule offers extra discounts to local people who want to visit regularly. ■ LOCAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE OUT OF TOWN COMPANY, if you run out of space at your homes, this spot is perfect. You can consider it a second home (temporarily). It offers the personalized local environment versus the sterile environment of a motel. Your host is JOULE CHARNEY, who does her utmost to fulfill all of your needs and desires in a dog park and provide the best experience for you and your dogs. JOULE IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL HOST..... She founded her first business, TENACULAR RECOURSES, named for her tenacity, in 1983. In the 1990s, her avid dog sport participation, which through the years includes hunt tests, dock-jumping & FastCAT, and her pheasant hunting addiction, led to the establishment of an additional business: DOGNACULAR. Joule began by offering owner-handler training. She added offering properties for retriever training and hunting. Her guide services were included for hunters who desired them. Eventually, people came from all over the country to stay at Joule's home in California, which became her 'Bed & Breakfast with Birds.' In 2012, Joule began boarding dogs in her home, for clients her preferred their dogs to be housed in a home environment instead of being cooping up in kennels or crates. Then came the worst luck since Joule's beloved boyfriend of twenty-three years died in 2003. Her home and businesses were destroyed on 11/08/2018 in the infamous wildfire known as the Camp Fire, caused by Pacific, Gas & Electric Company. The Town of Paradise, California was 95% wiped off the face of the Earth. It was the deadliest fire in California history with 85 people in the official death count. Joule was in her home when it caught fire. She got out her dogs and went back in three more times trying to rescue her cat. Her escape vehicle was surrounded by fire. Her route out of the town was thwarted repeatedly as she slowly navigated burned cars through the foothills with tens of thousands of others. She was burned, had smoke inhalation damage, and had essentially nothing left but one severely damaged escape vehicle, her dogs, and her life. With nowhere specific to go, Joule bought a motorhome and lived in it for three years with her Labs, Primus and Tunie, adding a Lab puppy, Scorch, in 2021. She ended up at a friend's RV area on his large retriever estate in SW Georgia in late 2021. Joule bought her place about a half hour away in Hartsfield, Georgia in early 2022. After toiling for the past 3.5 years, Joule has turned her new location into her personal paradise and she loves to share it. Joule still owns her property in Paradise, CA because she saved the only standing chimney on a burned-out property from FEMA-regulated destruction after a one-year battle. It is a true monument to the fire and to Joule's tenacity. Professionally, Joule has been a licensed private investigator in California since 1983 and still holds that license. Her primary business was Alternative Dispute Resolution at the time of the fire. She holds a Masters in Information & Communication, a BA in Economics, and an AA in Administration of Justice. Joule has remained productive as a published author & prolific freelance writer. Her passion for dogs and dog people led her to create DOGNACULAR JOULE'S in Georgia. You will find it truly is a spectacular paradise for dogs with a gracious host unlike any other you ever will meet. (Rev. 09/18/25)
