55Nice spot with shady area and a great secure fence. My dog had a lot of fun running around to his heart’s content.
Two notes: if you have a small dog (my chihuahua is 6 lb), use the wooden board to cover the hole under the fence door. Also, be cautious of the poison Ivy around the trees. Charlotte L.

55This was Echo's first time going to a sniffspot location. I can't think of a better place. Very clean. Lots of places for a dog to sniff and explore. Best for zoomies. Echo is a 16 month old Labradoodle with very high energy. She had so much fun. It wore her out and she snored the whole way home.
Echo wants to go back which we will do many times.
If the rain comes, there is a porch to stand under so your water dog can still run and play.
I recommend this place 100%DeEtta D.

55This is an amazing spot. We live in the city and have a reactive rescue pup, so it was great to be able to give her some good off leash time. The yard is super spacious and Winnie also loved watching all the squirrels and hearing lots of new sounds. We will definitely be back! Rachel G.

55The spot has a great high fence that is secure enough that Delilah, a reactive rescue escape artist, wasn’t able to! We had a blast letting her run free for the hour. Lots of new sounds and smells that kept her plenty busy. We will certainly be back, thank you! Eric S.

FAQ about our Timonium dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Timonium area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 281 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 47 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
