Welcome to Brockett Bark Park! 🐾 Friends have told us our backyard feels like a small city park: a fully fenced 1.2 acre property lined with trees that provide lots of shade and privacy. It's rare to find a spot like this so close to the city! There's lots of room here for activity—whether your fur-babies like to roam and sniff all the smells, find and chew on endless sticks, play long distance fetch (with our handy chuck-it), or just get some serious exercise running at full speed up and down the hill. We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Our Pyr is a rescue who can't be off leash or go to dog parks, so our property is the only space where he's free to be himself. And when we discovered Sniffspot, we wanted to offer the same opportunity for other doggos like him. No pup should be kept from the joys of life because of what they've been through! Our home is super easy to find/access and we have plenty of private (off-street) parking available, making it an ideal space to meet up for playdates. Thank you so much! I am just minutes away and as a PT student, my doggo has really needed the exploration. The area is clean, fenced in, and so lovely! There is a bit of a hill and unstable footing to go up to the deck to fill the water bowl and back down to the yard, so if your gait is unsteady I would recommend bringing your own water but I'm sure the hosts will accommodate if communicated with. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is a total gem! It was beautiful and conveniently located, with a little bit of everything: open fields bordered by woodlands, hills, seating for humans and dogs, trees, a nice deck with a table, and clean water for the pup. It was easily accessible and parking was super convenient. And so much space to explore and run and sniff! Would definitely visit again. They were kind enough to accommodate us last minute but next time we’ll definitely give a better heads up and make use of some of the amenities like the kiddie pool :) very private and secluded too. Can’t wait to go back!

It was nice open space for the dogs to explore. There was one spot in the back left that my pup was trying to get through but otherwise was secure. It was also shaded all morning so perfect in this summer heat. I would also suggest some mitigation for poison ivy as I spotted a few spots.
