My dogs had a great time exploring this new spot. They really enjoyed the chance to run in the open areas and explore sniffs in the woodsy areas. The Spot owner was very communicative and helpful. I wasn't concerned about the fencing since my dogs come reliably when I call them, but my 60lb girl did wander to the other side of the barbed wire fence, and under the fencing next to the red gate (she came back as soon as I called her). People with dogs that like to make a break for it might want to be cautious.

A wonderful spot! So many different types of terrain to explore between a creek, grassy hills, and woodsy areas. Great for my pup to be exposed to other domestic animals as well. Host is very communicative and did a fantastic job of posting plenty of signs for directions. Site is easy to get to. Parking is close to entrance of the Sniffspot. There is a large hill you need to walk, if you or your pup have accessibility issues. Good sturdy shoes are highly recommended. Host has thought of everything between water, toys, poop bags, and such. We look forward to coming again and again.

This was a great Sniffspot! The upper area had open, grassy areas and the lower was more of a forest vibe with small ponds and wetlands. There is a fairly steep but short path to get to the open areas so just be aware if you have mobility issues. Our pup loved running around, splashing in the water and we had a great time!

Lovely visit! A lot of space for zoomies. As a hobby farm, I wasn't surprised to find cow patties in the field, but the area around the firepit was clean. Gwen provides water for the pups, which was appreciated. My older pup did awkwardly stare into the neighbor's window, so keep an eye on pups wandering over the hill by the firepit. Moose is an inside dog and thought he could charm them to let him in. I did hear a few loud noises like target shooting (not surprising in that area of the county), so be aware if that affects your pups.

Wow, I think I would come back here for a walk even without my dog! Brought our pup and kiddo and had a great walk up the hill, explored the pasture and walking through the trees. The kiddo loved the tire swing and our pup loved everything including romping through the creek. We will be back!

We love this spot!! 💕 a perfect field for playing fetch, a few little trails for sniffing around and decompressing, and a little stream to cool off in. We definitely appreciated the clear signage and instructions. We had a great time, and absolutely will be back.

I loved this sniffspot! Mix of different terrains and no shortage of spots for my pup to explore. Definitely think it’s a bit more treacherous than some other spots, so some things worth noting: not all of the fencing feels entirely secure, the water doesn’t look like water you’d want your dog to jump in (in case you have a pup who can’t resist, I might avoid this spot), and there’s a good amount of sticker bushes and hard to navigate hilly woods area.

Our dogs loved this Sniffspot! A bit muddy when you first enter so follow their instructions to wear boots/shoes that can get dirty. A very cute cow was visible when you enter as well. It has a really large open area and some wooded area - our 2 pups had a blast exploring and playing fetch!

Wonderful spot for my doggos to frolick! They had a fantastic time and are still tired out. Spot was easy to find and very well marked. Read Gwen's instructions carefully, as she's not joking about the mud or the short but steep hike up the hill. We'll definitely be back.

This is a lovely and serene spot to play with your pup. The host provided clean water, waste bags, and trash can. The main area up on the hill is dry and covered in soft lush grass - perfect footing for fast dogs. The area is drained very well even in the wettest time of winter. We'll certainly be back!

This is a fantastic spot. The parking and entrance instructions were very clear, we found it easily. The (very cute) farm animals are right near the entrance, you can’t avoid walking past them. Luckily my dogs were unfazed, and the mini cows are adorable. All 5 acres are accessible, the wooded parts are easy to wander through. The clearing at the top of the hill was a lovely open space to romp in. From what I saw, all fencing was secure. I’ll definitely go back. I’m so grateful to people who share their land like this.

We loved this sniffspot and definitely planning to re-book. My pup loved exploring around, getting dirty and playing in the water during our visit. Since it was our first visit, we decided to keep him on long leash as we could here some talking and dog barks around. However we definitely felt safe and might be able to leave him off leash next time.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
