This Sniffspot is a true gem! It is SO private and we didn’t see another human or animal the whole time we were there. It is also incredibly beautiful with the lovely creek, deck, sand bar, and trees. So much exploring and sniffing to do! It was incredibly relaxing to spend time there with my reactive dog and he had a wonderful time.

True paradise. Instructions on how to find it and park are perfectly clear and well communicated. Place is like piece of personal paradise for you and your dog. Forest and nature for a dog to sniff and explore and a lot of it. Swimming is great, I also dipped. Everything listed and more is there: The way down to the creek from the road are well take care of, the borders of the area are very clear by description and signs. Amenities are: amazing deck for humans and dogs to chill, chairs by the creek, firepit, some tools to get your dog's toys out of the water, char-hammock. Dogs get to run around on different surfaces such as sand, earth, creek stones and water, which is very healthy for them. You can hear cars, but not loud at all and overall it feels like your personal private campgrounds. No trash around and place very well maintained. And pictures truly can not express the beauty of the place. Definently worth the drive. If I ever would create a sniffspot - I want mine to be like this one.

So fun!!! Clear instructions and directions. However, please be aware this is not fully fenced. It's a creek and trespassing is possible if your dog decides it's time for an adventure. We will be unable to return for that exact reason. But the swimming hole is sooooo lovely!!! Very nice host as well.

I never leave reviews but this place was perfect. First time using this app and we were looking for a place to teach our lab she is supposed to be a water dog. Protected water fun. 5 stars.

Really beautiful and peaceful spot! I felt comfortable having my dog off leash there even though he doesn't have the best recall. It gives Russian River vibes without being a very long drive away for me. Terrain is rocky which was a little tough for my mini dachshund to navigate, but he managed and had a great time swimming and exploring. I do wish I would have better shoes as advised. Getting down to the creek is pretty steep and slippery. We'll definitely visit again!

What a beautiful spot! Instructions for arrival were very clear, making it easy to find after a long and winding drive. Even late in August, the swimming hole was full of water, and the creek was burbling and lively. Our dog has never been swimming before so we used a life jacket for her and it made the transition much less scary for her. (Turns out she isn’t a fan of swimming despite her love of water!). She had a great time exploring the creek and climbing on rocks and logs. The trail is short but steep. There is a handrail at the steepest part, and built-in steps to make it easier to navigate. Excellent access instructions. A quiet and private spot...only heard one dog barking. Make sure to wear shoes with great traction.

This was our first Sniffspot visit. The instructions made it easy to find (you definitely need real shoes for the trail in) The location is wild but in a great way, it’s like your own little piece of forest. The creek and swimming hole were perfect for my two dogs. It was definitely a secluded spot which made it very relaxing for us.

I brought my dog here for the 3rd time and he had a blast as usual. My dog likes scaling hillsides and playing with sticks in the shallow parts of the stream. It was 89 degrees today and I couldn’t have asked for a better play area for my boy.

Definitely a little steep of a hike to get down if you’re not ready for it! The second time was easier since we knew what we were doing, and made sure to wear shoes with a little grip. The areas are clearly marked for your spot, and the water is clear and refreshing. My girls love being able to run around and swim a little. Nothing is so deep it’s worrisome, either. Bring your own poop bags and throw them out in town or you’ll need to take them home with you.

Our pups had a blast. My pup can be reactive towards new dogs at parks and trails so finding this spot for him to have a private place was really awesome. The scenery is beautiful. They enjoyed the creek and exploring. The platform and fire pit was great. We will definitely be back often. It was worth every dollar.

We had the best time here. The creek has running water, the “campground” is set up really well and our doggie learned how to swim!!

This is an amazing spot! Easy to find! Completely private! Your own HUGE forest area with a creek. My dogs had a blast! They have chairs there and a fire pit. I will definitely book again!

Our girl had the time of her life here! She is ball obsessed so we usually opt for a field where she can chase the ball to her hearts content, however, we recently realized she loves water so we've taken her to a couple of pools to swim but there isn't much sniffing going on. This place was the best of both worlds! She was able to jump in the water after balls or frisbees plus she sniffed the heck out of everything there. She fell asleep on the way home which has NEVER happened! LOL It's a little far from where we live so I'm not sure of when our next visit would be but it's a great, great spot! The host was very communicative with the directions and they were very simple to follow. Thanks for hosting such a great spot!
