Top Public & Private Dog Parks in Belfair, WA

Wonderful space for our dane and mastiff to safely run free. Open areas for fetching and wooded area with a trail gave them a lot to explore. The host was very kind and accommodating. There is a fresh water source and toys to use. Our pups had a blast!

We loved our visit today. We enjoyed the variety of ’zones’ - there was something for everyone to enjoy. Hope to be back!

Fantastic place to go with the pup! Tons of sniffs and things to see. My boy was very interested in the fowl in the adjacent yard but everyone was safe and secure on different sides of the fence. Lots of open space for fetch and a fun back trail to explore. With the rain thar was recent it was flooded in a few areas. We just decided to get wet and have fun regardless.

Awesome place! We’ve been waiting to come until the gate was installed because our pup’s recall isn’t solid yet. It’s been installed so the entire property is fully enclosed. The front portion has a fenced off pasture that’s great for ball and tug and general shenanigans, while the back is densely wooded with some rustic trails. The new gate and fence was more than adequate to keep our pup in. A very small dog (toy size) might have a couple spots they could slip out, and big dogs hell bent on jumping could probably do it, but any dog between those two extremes should be safely contained with no issues. The back of the property has a lot of brush, but it is not all thorns like some others we’ve been to, which was a pleasant surprise. Our girl could actually get in there and sniff and enjoy herself. There are 2 low spots on the trail where water pools after rain, and I’m sure some times during the year it can get deeper, but today (4/9) it was ankle deep. Not a big deal with water proof boots, we were expecting it based on the info provided by the host, and our pup LOOOOOOVED ITTTTTTT. She had the best time crashing through it and tearing off into the woods. Had a nice chat with the owner who indicated they’re looking at ways to mitigate it during the wet season, which is nice, but I hope there’s still a little room for splashing around, that was part of the charm for us! One review mentioned a lot of poop, and we didn’t encounter that. Not dog poop at least. There were 3 little piles of deer poop in the pasture, but that’s to be expected in this neck of the woods, and I would not call it excessive. There are trash barrels close to the house you can use for bag disposal. There are water bowls in the pasture and a hose attached to the house near the carport to fill them up. Bring a towel and some boots and some treats and just let your pup be feral in the woods.

They now have front gate installed. Property completely fenced. Fantastic spot. 6 acres with a mix of open space with trails in the back. Dogs had a fabulous time.

We love this spot! So close to home for a quick stop to get the dogs out of the apartment! Very friendly host. Lots of room for dogs to run and sniff! Feels secure as well for the doggos.

Great property! Dogs never stopped running. Fun variety of terrain and landscape. Easy for walking or running after the dogs. Apparently the dogs found their perfect Sniffspot!

Great place! We had fun sniffing around. I'll definitely be back when it hasn't been so wet. We got our zoomies out in the fenced pasture before the rain made us leave.

What an awesome Sniffspot! Beautiful area just outside the State Forest. The perfect place to enjoy the PNW with your besties.

Fun spot! I drove an hour to check this place out and it was very pretty and peaceful. If you choose to walk in the back wooded area, bring some boots! The pups loved it and had a blast!

This space was awesome! My pup had a great time running through the woods and then playing fetch in the pasture.

The host came out to greet us and gave us information on the property. She was very nice and the property had lots of room for the dogs to run around and play. There was also a basket of toys available as well.

Super large areas. SUPER accommodating and welcoming host. Will definitely be back. We wanted to explore the woods but found out real quick we didn't wear proper shoes lol.

What a spot!! Out in the wild the further you go way back from the property. If you’re like me with no sense of direction and get lost easily, I suggest bring a red yarn and mark or tie them to s bush help lead you the way. There’s a lot of mini paths and trails once you’re able to go through some of those tough bushes. My dogs ended up meeting the neighbor’s horse by accident so be prepared especially if you have a reactive dog. Overall, The dogs had a great time going through those tough bushes, trees and swimming in the watering hole. Will definitely return now that I know what to expect.
