55Perfect winter wonderland! Directions were easy to follow and there were also toys left out for us! My dog is nonreactive, and we are still working on recall, so this was a great space for us to work on it because there are mild distractions. There was plenty of space for her to stretch her legs, but I did leave her long lead on because there are a few spaces that she would have been able to squeeze through if I wasn’t watching her. Because of the pond (and her poor swimming skills), I would only bring her when it is completely frozen over (like today) or once it has thawed for the season. 55What a lovely day at the Funny Farm! I think Abby ran and swam every inch of those 3 acres today! The open fields and pond are ideal for an active dog to work off some energy. I love the secure fencing that lets me have Abby off leash and free to run and play. Such a beautiful property! Wendy K.

Another beautiful day at the Funny Farm! It was very hot and sunny but Abby was able to jump into the lovely large pond whenever she needed to cool off. He did get very dirty from poking around the pond but I expected it and loved letting him just be a dog. Once he discovered the horses he lost interest in the pond. My dog is a huge ball of big puppy energy and the horses were so calm and patient with him. He got to nuzzle and kiss their noses through the fence! It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
