He also opened the gate when we were leaving. (My backup camera is on the fritz and I really appreciated his help backing out of the yard). Great experience. The host was very thoughtful to warn us about the amount of snow & road conditions. We were even a little slow due some snowy spots in the road & the host was very accommodating to let us in a few minutes late. Chairs, water, toys, etc were provided & we were really impressed! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
