55We had a slight hiccup when I first arrived. It was my first visit to this spot. I could not let my dogs out because the chickens and goats were out. Thankfully, someone heard me and a very nice man came out. He was not aware of my scheduled visit but it was no problem, he offered to put the goats and chickens in the barn, if I could give him 10 minutes. It was certainly worth the wait. Once out, my dogs had a great time running around. My 10 yo Tyson climbed in and out of the leaf covered stream while my 2 yo Chloe followed but was jumping (not climbing) in, out, and over the bank, and tree limbs. I had not realized just how high and easily she could jump until this visit. They ran around, sniffed, and rolled. The grass was green and mowed short. It was truly a beautiful day. There were several picnic benches on the property to rest or just enjoy the view. I liked the fact that the spot was rather secluded. My dogs loved the water feature playing in it like a pool. It was not too deep for my large dogs. Before I left, Joyce, the owner came home and I was able to speak to her. The owners were great to my dogs and seem to love animals. I would recommend this spot to any dog owner, just be aware the property is unfenced. Hopefully, Tyson, Chloe, and I will be able to visit again soon. Rita C.
