Our host Whitney was very welcoming. Her fenced backyard is shaded with enough space to toss a ball for your dog. A back and one side portion of the backyard is fenced off and is a chicken, duck, and goat pen. The animals were comfortable with dogs and behind a secure fence, so I used this as a distraction training opportunity. If this would be too much for your dog, be aware that the animals are within the backyard (fenced off along the back and side) of where you will be visiting! There was a shaded picnic table and bench for me, and she provided water for my dogs. The yard is fully fenced, mostly with chain link but one portion is a privacy fence. The gate is chain link with bricks/blocks at the bottom. We will be back to use this as a distraction training opportunity! The neighborhood overall was quiet (at the end of a dead end street) and a nice fenced area to train and play a little fetch.
