Welcome to our backyard! You would never know it from the street but behind my house is a hidden gem in the city. It is fully fenced and dogs large and small cannot escape. It has multiple areas to sniff and things to look at. For 3/4 of the year we are beautifully shaded. Dogs can run hang out but mostly they just love to sniff.

There are outdoor lights and a fan controlled by Alexa under the gazebo. Simply ask Alexa to “turn on patio lights” or “turn on patio fan” or “turn on backyard lights”. Please also ask her to turn them off when you leave. If Alexa is not working for any reason there is a manual white button on the upper left hand post (left of fireplace) that will turn both lights and fan on. You can also ask Alexa to play music or you can also request a local radio station. On really hot days, I will setup the sprinkler for your dog if they enjoy it. One acre grassy field fronting the peaceful Big Elk Creek. Easy access to the stony beach at the water’s edge. Lightly travelled road with one-lane bridge. Steep hills on either side help discourage roaming. Creek is stocked with trout. During first two weeks of trout season, creek is well populated with fishermen/women but they seldom bring dogs. Otherwise, there are occasional visitors to this area. Great spot for pups and kids to run, swim and explore. Peace and tranquillity for all to enjoy.

Come visit this private, fully gated yard in the city. A cement walkway to the right of the house brings you to the 3ft high gate featuring two entrances. Within there is a patio with table and chairs, grassy area for your fur baby, and pole incase your pup requires a tether. For patrons booking 2hrs or more, feel free to use the grill provided you clean and empty it prior to the end of your stay. There are no neighboring dogs to worry about. The neighbors are friendly and may even ask if they can give your dog a treat.

If your looking for a place your dog can run freely and safely, this is the spot for you. We have dog toys, water bowls, a hose, and a doggy pool (weather permitting) that can be enjoyed on hot summer days. For our human friends, comfy chairs, a fire pit (upon request), and a large umbrella are available for your enjoyment. Private entrance in/out of yard. Of note: there are two pest control boxes around the perimeter of our yard. They are completely pet safe, as we have two dogs of our own. Please reach out if you have any concerns!
