55This was my first time using a Sniffspot with my dog and it was a very good experience. The host provided directions on getting to her home and where to park. I also appreciated the little sign pointing us to the appropriate entry gate. The yard is lovely, large, quite private, and very securely fenced. My boy is more of a sniffer than a runner, so he mostly just ambled around, checking out everything and anything. For a younger, more active dog, there would be plenty of room to run, play, chase a ball ... get nice and worn out! Christine provided toys and water, which we did not use but it was nice to know they were there. I'm sure we will back for more visits to this lovely property. Donna S.

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
