The fence was secure, and the owner had a place to dispose of poop bags, some extra toys, hand sanitizer/bug spray, a bowl of water, and some equipment like tubes and platforms for dogs to play on. We had such a great time here! Nancy had everything you could possibly need and the dogs loved running around, laying in the shade, and exploring. It was nice to let them do their thing and be able to sit in the shade to read. It was easy to find, had a great parking area, and very well maintained. This definitely will be one of our top places to book when we need to get outside!

At the Back 40 it’s all about the little things…. I love the attention to detail. Bug spray, towels when you add the splash pad, a selection of the best throwing sticks, AND TOYS. WE have a phenomenal time, it’s massive, the area is very private but still in the middle of Pasadena close to everything! Thanks so much for being a host we love it here!

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
