We live on a beautiful farm on the Mississippi River in the middle of Arnprior, Kinburn and Pakenham. Enjoy the quietness of the country with our very private dog park! Our field is fully fenced with 6' chain link fence, including a double gate to ensure that no dog can ever escape. Water is available for the dogs, and seating is available under our beautiful trees in the shade for you. As the fall starts to get colder and winter is upon us, we do plan to stay open for the winter. We plan to snowblow parts of the field so that there is a path when the snow gets super deep, and we’ll try to keep the area directly beside the barn clear for you. This is our plan… we’ll see how it works out in reality. :) If you have snowshoes, it may be a good idea to bring them some days depending on how much snowfall we’ll get. There is a bench around the tree on the far hill for you to sit on if you like. There are very few distractions here so it is a great space for play and/or training. We have three areas for you to enjoy, all are fully fenced and are included in the rental price. We have a fully fenced acre of woods with a trail that goes through to explore. It is accessed through the gate in the backyard. We also have a front yard and deep backyard, great for running, fetch and recall training. The yard is 1.5 acres and also fully fenced. During the winter, paths are plowed in both yards and in the woods within 3-5 hours of a significant snowfall. I took my two dogs for a visit to this lovely place this morning. It was a tranquil, beautiful setting, securely fenced, and there was lots of room for my sighthound to run while my senior sheltie used his nose to explore his surroundings. Although it was a very hot day, my friend and I were comfortable sitting on the provided benches in the shade of some large trees. The dogs cooled off with fresh cold water from the hose and drinking bowl. It was a very safe, comfortable, and serene site in the country, and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible! Do what you want, let the pup run free! Very secure and well maintained property. I’ll bring a snack next time, maybe even lay in the sun. My dog had the best time! I brought water but they had drinking water and little kiddy pool provided! Large enough for your dog to roam and explore, but you could sit with your family/kids and see your pup at all time! I may do a weekly visit to this spot. 10/10 recommend.

This spot is everything I could ever want and more. The fence is 100% secure so I had total peace of mind. The thoughtful touches of seated areas in the shade, and the water bowl/kiddy pool already being filled were greatly appreciated. The terrain was decently varied with some nice slopes. Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
