18 acre ranch with beautiful landscape, views of horses and occasionally wildlife depending on time of day. You are welcome to pet the horses but do not feed. Please do not allow your dogs to bark, growl or charge the horses (even though they are behind fences). All the horses are calm and easy around dogs, which we need it to stay that way. We have a fully fenced area roughly 10 acres with mowed paths for walking. You are welcome to walk thru the field if desired. There are random balls and toys in the field for use, water is available and if we are home during your visit should the restroom be needed we will honor use of that. You are welcome to bring agility or equipment and toys each visit if desired or practice nosework. We are also open to hosting groups, such as agility, nosework or trainers who need a large outdoor space that is fully fenced. Off street parking and can accommodate large vehicles. Small dogs are welcome, do note the fencing is graduated so depending on size of dog, some real tiny ones who are escape artists may not be the best fit. We had a great time on Jason’s acreage! One of our dogs is not dog friendly and we didn’t feel worried one bit on the property. I was hesitant about the lack of fencing, but it is very private and felt safe for both dogs. The water station was a huge plus! Thanks, Jason!

Host is friendly and flexible. Property is nice and big with beautiful views. My dogs enjoyed it. There are some horses fenced in on the far end of the property (neighbors I think) and my dogs have never been around horses, so we just stayed in the middle and they still had plenty of room. Wonderful open field where the dogs had a great time running around. They have a shed for some shade, chairs, and hose to cool the pups off. The grass is real tall so check your dogs for ticks, we didn't find any today though!

This is such a fun Sniffspot! I was worried that my dog would be bored without trees and rocks to sniff around, but he had a great time! Plenty of room to run around and things to sniff. It is also very private. One of our favorite spots so far!

Great secluded spot with plenty of room to run around and sniff. We forgot a water bowl and poop bags and both were graciously provided by the host. There isn't much shade so be prepared for that. Another bonus is the water hose.

Human review: The views are beautiful and the sun reflecting off the lake in the distance this morning was magical! Everything was very clean and I was really grateful to have the water hose & clean water bucket for them. The hose had a multi-option nozzle attachment, so I also gave them a few jet-type streams to race & chomp on which my GSP thought was the best thing EVER. I wouldn’t recommend it for smaller dogs bc there were a few birds of prey that circled (didn’t ID the second one, but the others were large red-tailed hawks) and I have no doubt they’d dive for a small dog. My GSP stayed on a long line bc there are many opportunities to dip out, but for a lower prey drive dog it’s an excellent place to generalize an already established recall. If you’re planning on playing games of fetch, just a heads up there are a few random burrows with wider openings across the acreage that could cause injury if your pup doesn’t have good foot awareness. Overall we will definitely be coming back!!! Dogs’ review: So much zoom space and grasshoppers to chase & chomp! Lots of good pee spots, hunting and tracking smells galore, and a water jet hose to play in!
