55What a great spot! Our pups had a great time romping around. It’s very quiet and beautiful. And there’s a lovely pond if you have a pup that loves to swim. Melanya H.

55Beautiful spot. Great grassy area to let the pups run around and lots of toys and sticks available. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is a little warmer so the pups can swim in the pond. Sierra M.

55Great little spot! The creek and the pond are lovely and my dogs had a great time sniffing and exploring! Bunsen really appreciated the digging area. We forgot a ball so it was awesome that there were some spares!

55This is a huge sniffspot! There was plenty of room to walk, sniff, play fetch, swim, and explore. Although not fenced, this spot is on a quiet, private street with lots of natural boundaries to keep your dog in! We will add this spot to our list of regulars. It crosses all the boxes we look for: large area to play fetch, good-size pond for swimming, wooded area for walking and sniffing, trashcan, and extra toys, poop bags, wipes, and water! Frances U.

55Wow what a beautiful spot! Dream property for sure. The signage was clear and great communication from host. Lots of space! We explored by the creek and down to the lake. The wood chips were very nice. Also a bin is provided with balls and toys as well as a bin with wipes, water, and poop bags. It was very very muddy but this was made clear to us! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this sniff spot.Page W.

55Beautiful space! Be mindful that the ground is uneven, covered in sticks/branches and muddy. If your pup or you doesn't walk well, it probably won't be the best. But my border collie was stoked! Hailey R.

55This was a great way to get my slightly reactive, intermittent listener to have a safe adventure. We started on the longline to check out the integrity of the fence and it was overall very secure. It was nice to take the dog off lead and practice some recall, knowing she couldn't get too far. There were a few cars on the side road in sight but it was easy to get away from those so they wouldn't be tempting to chase. The trails intersect and provide lots of interest for dogs. The property is hilly as described and there are plenty of blackberry bushes, but it was highly navigable. I enjoyed the picnic table at the top of the property and there are all the dog related amenities you could need. We will definitely be back.Carrie E.

55My dog had an absolute blast, she loved running around the trails in the back and the open space, and I loved that she was able to do so without fear of anything. Everything is fully fenced in and we got lucky without rain so no muddy feet when leaving too 😁Morgan H.

55Great worry-free spot! Dogs loved exploring the trails and the water feature and there was plenty of room to throw a ball. Having some training/boarding dog action in the background was good desensitization for my reactiveish dog, as it was a safe distance away with no shared fences (if you’re on the trails). Appreciated the towels, balls, etc provided!Emily P.

FAQ about our Camas dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
