Silent H Acres In Morganton
Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. PARKING - you can pull next to the left side of the barn, or anywhere along the driveway. Thank you for choosing Silent H Acres SniffSpot. If you would, please leave us a review on the SniffSpot App and tell your friends about us.

The Canine Traveler
We will be closed the entire month of January for maintenance and cold weather. We will open weekends in February. Let your pup run wild and free across 8 private acres of pure off-leash joy! This sprawling, fully fenced property is perfect for dogs who love to explore. With rolling hills, bumpy terrain, and tons of open space, it’s a sniff-and-sprint paradise! *We are outside the city limits and it is not uncommon to hear hunters nearby shooting* ✅ Fully enclosed with secure fencing ✅ Natural terrain: hilly, bumpy, and tons of sensory enrichment ✅ Water station & shade available inside carport and through trails ✅ Poop bags & trash bin provided Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and at the picnic table in the back near the bamboo forest. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. At any time, you can request more seating. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport and at the well. Fence: The fence is 3 feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. On other sides we have wire and chain link. Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have not tried to jump it. *There are critters that like to lift up our wire fencing. Just beware if you have a tiny dog.* Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. There have been times that deer will be stuck inside our fencing. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls.

Good Vibes & Wagging Tails 🐾
🐾 The Story of Gabagool (Gaba) 🐾 As pet owners, we know there’s nothing quite like sharing life with the pets we adore. Sometimes, the most meaningful connections come when we least expect them. 🐾 We owned this property for nearly a year before officially moving onto the land. During that time, every visit seemed to bring the same quiet companion—Gaba. He would appear out of nowhere, calmly walking the land, greeting us with a gentle presence. He would sit quietly at my husband’s feet, resting his head there—simply being. Peaceful. Loving. Familiar. 🐾 Because each property along this road spans several acres, we truly believed Gaba belonged to someone nearby. It never crossed our minds that he might not have a home. 🐾 About a month after we moved in, a neighbor casually mentioned—almost in passing—that Gaba had been abandoned by a previous owner nearly six months earlier. We were stunned. Truly shocked. 🐾 From that moment on, we understood what we had already felt in our hearts: Gaba wasn’t lost—he was meant to be here. 🐾 Gaba has shown us parts of this six-acre land we didn’t even know existed. Quiet corners. Hidden paths. Peaceful spaces we may never have discovered without him. In many ways, he introduced us to the soul of this property. 🐾 We believe Gaba is a blessing to our family and to this land. His journey is what inspired us to share this space with others—to welcome you and your pet into a place that has brought us peace, healing, and perspective. 🐾 This listing and the time we share here was inspired by Gaba’s journey and everything he has shown us about patience, presence, and connection. Because some moments deserve more than just a quick visit, we’re inspired to offer additional time—two full hours— so you and your dog can slow down, explore, and simply enjoy being together without feeling rushed. 🐾 We hope Gaba’s story inspires you to book, just as it inspired us to open this land and share it with others. Whether you’re walking, resting, exploring, or simply enjoying the quiet sounds of nature, we welcome you to spend meaningful, quality time with your dog in a place that has meant so much to us. 🐾 Good Vibes & Wagging Tails 🐾 — where time slows down, and connection takes the lead.
