Bev's Private Dog Park in Courtenay provided the ideal pit stop between Nanaimo and Campbell River, where we were catching the ferry to Quadra Island. The "dog park" was perfectly safe for our two reactive Cockapoos, as well as very well cared for and intentional. We will certainly return during our future travel days between Vancouver and the Northern Gulf Islands. Thank you, Bev!

Great spot. No distractions. Puppies had a really great run in the open yard. Large bowl of fresh water ready and waiting. Host was very welcoming and gave clear directions where to park and enter the yard. We’ll be back!

It’s a great secure spot, my boy had a fun time sniffing wildlife tracks and running around. He can be dog selective so he doesn’t get to be off leash very often outside his own yard. He had a blast, will definitely return.

Excellent location for my first ever visit to a Sniffspot. My trainer recommended these spots for reactive dogs like my Frenchton Eddie who is constantly on high alert. For once he was able to relax and just play in a big open space with his little Boston Terrier sister April. Site was open but had shade too so wasn’t too hot. Both my dogs were running full tilt and rolling in the grass with joy! Thanks to the hosts for fitting us in on short notice! See @phsiii2024 for a short video of my dogs at the site.

This place is lovely! Very clean, lots of room to run around, and it even came with a cute welcome basket filled with treats and toys! The host was very accommodating and helpful too. We didn't have a lot of time to explore the space this time around, but will definitely be back in the future when we have more time to enjoy it! Such a wonderful opportunity to be able to just RELAX anxiety-free off-leash for a moment! Thank you!

This is a great spot for my reactive dog. It's very clean, plenty of space to run, and very quiet (we were there on a Sunday morning). The fence seems secure. The host is very nice. I will definitely be taking my dog back again.

The yard is large with lots of room to run about, tree's to sniff and tall grass to rummage through. There was a fresh bowl of water and some squeaky toy's, homemade treats, dog waste bags, chairs to sit in while your dog does its dog stuff. I will do use this area again 🙂
