Your dogs will love this place Melanie was wonderful. Even had a basket of essentials waiting for us. An awesome piece of property. Big enough to wear my Husky out We will definitely be returning regularly I highly recommend this place but try to keep it a secret for as long as possible...lol

This was our first ever Sniffspot and boy, did Melanie set the bar high!! Gorgeous, clean & serene! There were even some human amenities provided (bug spray, for example) that made the stay particularly enjoyable. If you’re traveling through (or lucky enough to live close by) definitely enjoy this spot with your four-legged friend!

We always have a wonderful time at Melanie’s spot. The labs love playing in the river and our oldest dog loves sniffing through the trees. A cool spot to hang out for the humans too! Melanie is great at communicating and so welcoming. Can’t wait to visit again!

This place is amazing! We made the drive from asheville and it was so worth it. We will definitely be back! Melanie provides chairs, a hammock, and little extras you may need, like bug spray and sunscreen. There are picnic tables as well. My dog loved exploring the grassy area as well as cooling off in the river. Beautiful spot!

This was paradise for dogs and people! This was our first sniff spot experience and couldn’t ask for a better one! Melanie was super nice, helpful and very responsive to my questions and when we arrived we briefly met her husband who was so kind and we could tell was also an absolute dog lover! Our pups are somewhat reactive towards other dogs and they were kind enough to reassure us that their pup would be inside while we were there. When you pull in you are surrounded by a beautiful river and mountain scenery and our hosts graciously left a basket with dog treats, dog bags, a towel to dry the pups, bug spray and even some snacks for the humans. Our dogs LOVED it and so did we! Such a little slice of heaven and was worth the 2 hour drive to get here! We will be back :)

This is our favorite place to spend the afternoon! Melanie is a great host, and the field and river access at this spot give all 3 of our dogs plenty of room to run, swim and sniff. Always looking forward to our next visit!

Riverfront Field is such a great place to run and swim. Melanie is a very welcoming and helpful person. They have treats, bug spray, chairs, picnic tables, and such available. Water is slow moving in this location so it easy for the dogs to retrieve from the water. Grasses and woods to sniff about. We will be back for sure.

This spot on the Nolichuky River is amazing! So thankful to be able to spend a 4 hours in a beautiful peaceful place with our dogs. We have a senior girl almost 16yo and she’s always loved water and hiking so to be able to hang out and swim with her within worrying about anything was a dream. Our young little girl super loved running in the field and wading around the water too! Melanie left water and basket of things you may need while visiting which is very thoughtful. The spot is clean and gorgeous. We’ll be back! Thank you Melanie for sharing your beautiful River front with dog lovers 💛

We came today to celebrate one of our dogs recovering from cancer surgery. We had a wonderful time despite the weather be big grey and rainy. The spot is easy to find, well situated, the perfect spot if you and your pups like water. Plenty of chairs and benches for the humans and so much space for the dogs! We will 100% be back and are just very sad we only just found it this late in the summer!

Our new favorite spot!! My dogs are a bit reactive to both strangers and other dogs so I’m always a little on the cautious side when it comes to exploring new places. This spot was a 10/10!! If you are debating booking just do it! You won’t regret it. Well worth the 40 minute drive:)

We traveled 50 minutes to River Front Field. It was absolutely worth it! My 11 month pup played and frolicked whole time. The constant sound of the river running was delightful. We will return.

This is hands down the best Sniffspot we’ve ever been to! The host is amazing- she leaves little baskets of dog (and human) treats, bug spray, towels and balls for the pups. There’s tons of space for your dogs to run/swim/play I cannot recommend it enough!

This was our second time at Melanie’s spot and we can’t wait to go back again. A lovely secluded spot on the river with ample spots to relax, go for a mozy in the woods, let the pup take a little swim, or let the pup run free in the clearing. Melanie even took the extra step and left a few supplies we may have needed but didn’t think of- bug spray, towels, waters, treats. The pup loved it and didn’t want to get back in the car when it was time to leave. Hoping to make it back again soon!

We’ve been to this spot many times now and it’s our dogs’ favorite! We lucked out with perfect weather for today’s visit and the dogs swam, fetched and explored the entire time. Our older dogs especially love the beach area with easy access to wade into the river. Can’t wait to visit again!
