Please use the gate on the garage side of the house for entry, and please be sure to clip the carabiner on your way out. Water is always fresh and full with our auto-filling dog bowl! We run a dog sitting and daycare business via www.bandjpawsandstay.com so your pup may get to say "Hi!" to some friends inside the house (though we do our best to keep them away from windows). Welcome to our safe haven! In this club, there is no such thing as a bad dog and ALL dogs and humans are welcome and loved. I am the proud mama of two fearful and reactive dogs and work as a caregiver specializing in special needs animals and dogs with special behavior cases, esp. fear-based aggression. We built this yard specifically for fence jumpers and dogs that need and deserve a quiet and private space to play and feel safe. Our spot’s entrance is remotely controlled, allowing us to ensure there is zero risk of anyone entering the yard during your visit. We believe our guests deserve security and privacy, and will never enter the yard unless you have specifically requested that we do (i.e. if there is an emergency and you have expressly asked me to come out to the yard and help you). Our yard is spacious, wooded, and green with full 8ft privacy fencing including inwardly-angled fence extenders. Doggie extras: get ready for wooded trails, “barkour” obstacles, the perfect grassy bowl for fetch, agility jumps and tunnels, a tennis ball bit, splash pool in the summer, and so much more. My backyard offers 2 acres of fully fenced forested area with over 50 trees within that area! We keep a trail mowed that loops down into the bottom of the yard so you have a comfortable walking trail and your 4 legged friends can use it as a racetrack! Tons of smells to sniff and ample room for zoomies! Chickens will always be secured in their predator proof coop and run. There are toys, a garbage can, a dog bowl, and extra poop bags on the patio just before the wooden stairs. Please feel free to park in the driveway on the right side of the garage!

The area behind the house is quiet and peaceful and spacious. There is Chuck sticks and frisbees, but you have to bring your own balls. I always provide freshwater and dog treats and there are chairs for people to sit while their dogs run around. Also the home of Critterville self pet wash, if the dog gets stinky after it runs around it can get a warm bath before it goes home if the pet wash is available at that time. There is a sign to the left of the garage door that says Sniff Spot park here you can walk around the left side of the house and enter the backyard from that gate. Follow the signs.

The property is under 4 acres in a residential rural community. There is lots of unfenced yard as well as a mostly fenced pasture (electric fence is NOT on). Would work best for dogs that need to run or play that listen to their owner and are not likely to run off as the fencing was designed to keep livestock in the pasture, not dogs. Just had the pasture mowed down but mosquitoes can still get aggressive when there is no breeze so you may want to apply insect repellent.

Relax in comfy chairs on the patio or under the NEW! pergola while your pups play. Fresh water provided, and a waste station is in the SW corner. We don't use lawn chemicals, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit. All proceeds from this Spot go to dog rescue. <3 SUMMER: Kiddie pool will be setup in warmer weather (65F and up) unless guest requests otherwise. There is a shallow plastic splashpad for littles/nervous dogs- please add on as an extra (no cost/free) if you want it setup (see photos for details), it requires a special hose hookup so I don't set it out unless asked.
