To keep pond clean and swimmable we use manual removal of seaweed and leaves, beneficial bacteria, barley straw, pond dye and two aerators. Setback off road in the woods for peace and quiet, no neighbors or any other people.

Monarch Hills Farm Private Dog Trails With Lake View In Holly

Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. We are across from pineknob golf course and music venue. You can hear the music from our yard . There’s lots of trees and bushes that block us from the road your dogs won’t even see the cars driving past We have lots of cut grass the dogs can run around and play . We now have a sandy beach they can play on and go swimming in our clean pond and dive off our dock . Lots of room to throw frisbees or balls to the dogs . PLEASE stay around the pond we have a chicken coop next to the house behind some trees and bushes not very visible from the beach area so please stay from the beach area to sashabaw road which is the area all around the pond .

We have 6 acres which is a mix of open area, woods and a creek. We keep the lawn cut but do not maintain our woods. You are free to cross the bridge and walk in the woods but it may be overgrown during summer and fall. Feel free to splash in the creek or check out the playhouse. We frequently see deer and other wildlife however they likely will be hiding when dogs are around. Please clean up after your pets. *please note we have a woodchuck living under our deck that likes to poop on our stairs. We try our best to clean it up but you may come across some woodchuck droppings.

Hay field open area is available all the way to back of property, full 13 acres! Alpacas will be seen. These are located to the right and is not fenced. Parking is immediately to the right in the grass. There are two fully fenced pastures to run free inside(2acres) to the left of driveway.
