We no longer have goats. 8 acre pasture completely fenced in with wood fence and field wire. Separate 32 acres is accessible with a stream but has to be guided the first time. You are allowed to drive your vehicle in to the field without having to leash your pup! It’s such a large area that waste removal isn’t required unless it happens right in front of you. If that happens, please dispose of over the fence. Shovel provided a entry. Just for your information. This “farmette” is in a neighborhood so there may be other dogs in other peoples yards that you might hear. We also have a family dog that might be visible occasionally in our own private yard, far away and totally separate from the Sniffspot. If your pet is very sensitive and can’t deal with even the site of and or hearing another animal, unfortunately this is not the spot for you. Fully fenced, very private, approximately 2/3 of an acre spot in an Alexandria neighborhood. Our yard is unique and has some flat, but mostly hilly wooded areas that are fantastic for any dogs looking to burn off some energy chasing squirrels or sniffing around! Relax and bring a picnic at our outdoor table or couch seating areas while your best friend has the time of their lives! I have 2 dogs who are typically away at doggy daycare from about 10am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. They are home on the weekends and before and after doggy daycare. They are friendly but will likely bark occasionally. We also have an indoor/outdoor cat who we will keep inside during any reserved times. To access the yard, our gate is at the side of our house and at the top of our driveway. We will leave a bowl of water out for the dogs on the concrete next to the house/pool/outdoor seating. We have some big garbage cans outside of the gate; please feel free to throw out any poop bags in the larger black trash can. Note: we do have a pool in an enclosed area but ask we that dogs stay out of the pool area.
