Me and my two Dobermans had such a fun experience at Melanie’s place. Her yard is very large with tall brick fences which I appreciate for my big dogs. Water, treats and toys were provided so my two dobbies had a blast playing with a treasure of new toys. Great experience all around and Melanie was so welcoming and a pleasure to talk to during our time. I’ll definitely come back again and highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place! Ample space for my dog to run around, clear instructions, way to find, and private! Can’t wait to come back when the suns out and use the pool with my pup!

This is the perfect space for playtime! There is lots of room and there is a swimming pool that can be used in the warmer months also! Rocket had a blast! One tip is to bring some toys, I forgot mine at home but, the large running space made it easy to tire my dog out.

Our dogs had an amazing time. They had a spacious yard to run and roam. We plan to bring life vests for the pool next time so the pups can swim. The yard was clean and in great condition! Thank you Kevin and Lucy!

Our pups loved Kevin & Lucy’s backyard! It was beautiful, large, clean, and even the pool was available to use. The high walls were a plus for my reactive pup. We were also able to meet Kevin during our visit and he was so sweet and accommodating. 😊 We will definitely be back soon!

First visit and we loved it! The yard is quite large, as described, and incredibly clean. Very easy parking. Host is very nice and communication was great. There was a neighbor dog that barked a bit when he/she heard us and mine barked back a little, but that’s to be expected in any residential neighborhood. Just a lovely Sniffspot. Thanks for hosting - we’ll visit again!

Has a good amount of space for even big doggos to run. I have a 75 lb German shepherd and he had a blast. There was a frisbee and a few balls on site already but I brought a few of my own toys as well. Pool is nice! My dog has never been in a pool deep enough to require him to swim so the steps down were a bit scary for him. He dipped his paws in and splashed around though! I was nervous at first about using someone else’s yard but saw the sniffspot sticker on the entry gate and knew I was in the right place haha

Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

Are dog parks safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
