As you arrive, you will park alongside our quiet street on graded dirt that may be slightly uneven in certain areas. You are visiting a residential home. You'll enter the property using the smaller, side gate and walk your pet(s) on a leash along the driveway for about 100 yards (past the deck). You reach a small, white gate to the right. Once you pass through this gate and it is properly latched behind you, you may unleash your pet. There are steps down to the play space. **Most of the land your pet will play on is uneven** **Land is always beautiful, but is green from first rain until May or June, then brown during summer until first rain** **We are fellow dog lovers! During your visit, our dogs will be enclosed uphill and away about 60 feet from the main play space, with two layers of vegetation and fences in between. Their enclosure is located on the far side of the home behind a different fence that cuts off the NW corner of the yard (see photos). The SniffSpot area DOES NOT share a fence with our dogs. You may hear a random bark from them, but that's it. Other details: The rental area is to the right of the driveway and is fenced in by a 3ft fence along two sides, and a 4ft chain link fence on the other two sides. The area is about 3/4 acre. It includes plenty of room for your pup to run, jump and play! There are small hills, trees, and huge boulders. Natural lighting only. Under the second deck there are hammock swings guests may use. Please, no pets on swings. Visitors may also utilize the deck closest to the house, but pets must be leashed on the deck, as it overlooks the play space and is not part of the fenced area. We may or may not be home. We do not typically interact with visitors to maximize your privacy, but would love to meet you if requested! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns before/during/after your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out via the communication tool in the app. We very much value your visit and feedback! Jo Anne has set up a wonderful yard for play, with plenty of shade and fun toys. There was water out for us when we arrived, and my dog loved playing with several of the toys out back. There's also room to roll around in the dirt, which my hound LOVED. This was our first time on Sniffspot, and Jo Anne was so welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first Sniffspot experience and it could not have been better! This is a wonderful space. I brought a couple of our own toys but we didn’t need to since there are toys available already. There is ample space to run around and play. Had all the amenities we could need and the host was very kind. The best part was that dogs are allowed to dig holes if they like as long as you fill it back up before leaving. This is something I was a bit paranoid about being in someone else’s yard because my dog loves to dig, but this spot worked out perfectly! Will definitely be back

Great for dogs that love to dig as there is currently more dirt than grass. There is a wall of chairs blocking off a portion of the yard, small dogs could get past easily. Friendly owner stopped by to say hi! We paid extra for the kiddie pool which was worth it!

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?

We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
