55Though Isaac’s “sniff spot” is not well identified as such, the house number you’ve been given is clearly visible at the gate. It is a very nicely fenced and the yard is huge, encompassing the residence, RV storage, goat and chicken pens. Though there are few trees (cypress along the fence) the yard is clean, nicely manicured and without the holes and rocks so often found in these places. It’s a great place to do some fast walking/jogging for you, with sniffing, running and fetching for your dog. Even with a light rain (and the right clothes) there is no issue with mud since most everything is gravel or grass. We (two dogs and I) enjoyed our hour at Isaac’s very much and will definitely be back again. Deborah B.

55This property has a large, flat, closely-mowed lawn - a great spot for romping without getting too muddy! Plenty of room to park within the securely fenced area. There is an adjacent fenced area within this property with a very handsome goat and a couple chickens. The fencing between areas is high and secure, but it's just something to be aware of if your dog is likely to obsess over being able to see livestock. Jaclyn R.

55Brought my girl and her best friend for our first time here this morning. I was worried they would be focused on the sheep and neighboring goats, but they had such a great time exploring they had little reaction to them.
Awesome they can sniff, dig, run and there are toys and fresh water available.
Great especially with multiple dogs, they can be off sniffing and know they're secure.Darcy B.

55Thank you so, so much for having me and Clay! He had a blast. The property is absolutely gorgeous and everything about the experience was amazing! Everything is maintained and the owner is very thoughtful to have toys/games for both dogs and people to play. It's quiet and has lots of shade and little trails for your dogs to run around in. We can't wait to be back!! :)Shelby M.

55What a beautiful area to let our doggo explore! Janet was very friendly and showed us around - she's thought of everything a human or dog could need. There was a lot of camas blooming when we visited, and we heard all kinds of birds and frogs. An entirely enjoyable experience!Caitlin W.

55Beautiful spot. And Janet is a wonderful host with a keen eye for what not only dogs want, but what their people are looking for as well. My dogs loved the wooded areas but were equally intrigued by the agility course. My 6 mo old Malinois & 5 yr old GSD were finally exhausted after being there. (That says alot)Wendy W.

FAQ about our Pleasant Hill dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Pleasant Hill area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 14 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 4 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
