6 acres

6 Acres of Off-Leash Adventure — Shaded Trails, Creek Access & Room to Roam! Ready to let your dog run wild (in a good way)? This private 6-acre wooded retreat is a dream come true for adventurous pups and their people! You'll find wide, clear trails winding through beautiful hardwood trees that offer tons of shade-perfect for hot days. Two creek access points run alongside the trails, giving your dog a chance to splash, sniff, and cool off mid-hike. There's plenty of space for well-behaved off-leash dogs to explore, sniff, and play- whether it's a calm walk or a high-energy romp through nature. Conveniently located off I-77, with a quick 1/4-mile drive from the interstate to the entrance. The gravel driveway leads to a parking area with room to turn around any car, SUV, or truck with ease.

Pond in the Pines

Fully Fenced
2.5 acres

Our space is roughly 2 fenced-in acres. 1 acre is a field, and the other is a 1-acre surface area pond. This pond is between 1 - 7 feet deep in some places, so dogs love swimming and running around. The pond is safe for pups to swim in and drink from! We have 10 dogs of our own who LOVE to play in the pond, so we make sure it is as safe as we can. There are no Gators, Snappers, or Blue/Green Algae! We DO have chickens and ducks on the property, but they will be fenced in a separate area during any visits. Please know that we are a very new Sniffspot! We are always working on making things better. Please let us know if you need anything! Parking is on grass, not on concrete. Parking is between the fence and the bush. This spot is not handicap accessible due to the terrain. Please note we DO HAVE A CAMERA in our field for wildlife protection. This camera auto-tracks movement. Feel free to join our Facebook Community: Pond in the Pines Community

55Incredibly easy to access, well marked rough trails, with an idyllic little creek with 2 access points! This spot was wonderful and the host was great at checking in and helping us understand the layout. You absolutely want to wear shoes that have grip out in the creek, and maybe bring a chair! If your dog has good recall, you will enjoy this spot immensely. We had such a great time and will be back as long as our gracious hosts will have us.

55Loved our first visit to “White Oak Trail”. Kathy’s instructions made her property easy to find coming from NE Columbia. She is lovely to talk with and has an awesome property!! There is a nice cleared trail and a lot of uncleared areas to explore. The rocky creek was my favorite part! My Rhodesian Ridgeback loved ALL of it! Wear clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting wet and possibly a bit muddy, especially if you want to have fun in the creek too! We will definitely be booking again in the future!

55We had an amazing time here! The backyard is very big and very well kept! My dog Timmy ran all over the place, rolled around in the grass, and chewed up some sticks, he had an absolute, well deserved blast! It was our first time using the app and we couldn’t be any happier, thank you!!!

55This was my first time using Sniffspot and Debb made the experience a breeze! Although we were in her backyard the experience still felt very private. Plenty of space for the dogs to run laps and no close by neighbors so they could be as loud as they pleased. Also I should note how beautiful the backyard is with a white picket fence and fresh planted garden (that I tried my best to keep the dogs out of) ☺️ We will be back!

FAQ About Ridgeway dog park

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 15% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Ridgeway area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 142 fully fenced dog parks in the area.
