Top Public & Private Dog Parks in Scarborough, ON

We had a great visit to this Sniffspot with our two dogs who are very high energy. It was a huge space with lots of room for them to run around and explore. The space is clean and well taken care of. My one girl who loves sticks kept grabbing all the ones she found around the yard. It was very adorable and hilarious. Two things: remember to bring your own water, as there is no water/hose here. We brought a waterbottle and a refillable bowl. But if you need more water (depending on your stay) you may need to run out and get more water at a store. As another reviewer mentioned, there are lots of mosquitoes, which has nothing to do with the host at all. Just more something to be aware of. We will totally come back here sometime!

The host is the kindest person. I arrived early, she saw me parked and invited me in. The puppy pool was ready with fresh water so I could work on Sparta's confidence in getting her paws wet. Great experience as always 😊

The yard is perfect! 👌🏼 Just enough space (A LOT) but not so much that you can’t get to your dog quickly if needed. My dog had a blast playing with her herding ball (which we brought with us) in all the open space, but she needed help when it got stuck between the mature trees in the yard. The trees are mostly clustered near the fences with one giant tree in the middle. Your male dogs will have so much fun peeing on them all! 🤪 I loved the whimsical seating nook featuring a large white bench, accented with industrial-style string lights. 💡 There’s a large glass dining table with seating for six and a bucket of dog toys atop. Under the central tree lie a stone bench and stone birdbath, with a large outdoor elevated dog bed off to the side. Part of the fencing is chainlink BUT those panels are covered with privacy screens that imitate foliage 🌿, which is a lovely touch and very thoughtful. One of the neighbours in an adjacent yard has a dog that barked a few times at the commotion my dog was making. Normally my reactive dog’s hackles would go up and she’d be stressed by being so close to another dog; however, she was having so much fun that she barely noticed. We were there for almost three hours and he barked only a handful of times for only a few seconds each time. Despite my dog’s confusion, the small dog pool (covered when not in use) is NOT a giant drinking bowl. 😅 I would recommend taking a bowl and lots of water for both dogs and humans, as well as bug repellent spray for the humans if you’ll be going around sunset (lots of mosquitoes, which isn’t the host’s fault obviously). As a host, Gerlyn is excellent at communicating, very kind, and knowledgeable about dogs! She used to dog sit on Rover and is on a temporary pause, but she’s an AMAZING sitter. If you anticipate needing a great sitter in the area, using this SniffSpot would make the transition less stressful for your dog(s), as they’ll be familiar with the environment. Though this was my first time using SniffSpot, my dog was already familiar with the yard, which was great! She didn’t waste any time and jumped right into having the best time of her life.

This place is well maintained with dog toys provided on site. Our dog had a fun time and we also got to relax at the patio.

Beautiful yard, very clean. We loved the dig pit, what a great idea. It was nice and spacious, good for fetch!

My dogs really enjoyed themselves! David’s spot has everything you need - shaded area for humans, sandbox, kiddie pool, toys, extra poop bags and fresh water. You don’t need to bring anything but yourself and your pups! We didn’t even need the full hour =) We’ll definitely be back! 

Another awesome yard for my dogs to explore! They had an absolute blast, and the unexpected skunk encounter just added to the adventure. What a day! 😅 I can’t thank the host enough for being so kind and helpful after one of my dogs got sprayed. She went above and beyond to assist me with the aftermath, and I’m truly grateful. Chaotic moments like that are so much easier to handle with such a supportive host! We will definitely book again!!

Our favorite spot in the city. I love how much shade is available and now there is a little doggy pool for the pups to cool off in. The host is very accommodating and always responds quickly to questions.

This is truly a dogs paradise! I wish I knew about it sooner😫 David is a great host and answered any questions I had. This was my 1st Sniffspot and I’m definitely coming back!! He has a lot of toys, a dig zone, doggy pool, sticks.. everything your dog needs. 20/10

An awesome spot for your dogs to play. My puppy loved the pool! It was so nice to be able to give them the space to enjoy themselves. Looking forward to our next visit soon!

10/10 for my foster/rescue husky. He’s been cooped up in shelter and this backyard was everything he needed. Room to run, no spots he could escape and a pool he spent most of his time (no one knew how he felt about water).

Location was easy to find with clear directions of where to park/enter. Yard was a great size. It was well kept and there were toys for the pups to enjoy. Gerlyn was responsive and accommodating. We had a lot of fun. We’ll be back!

This is our favourite spot! There are always lots of good sniffs and the host is absolutely amazing with great knowledge of dogs (especially with my boy being reactive!) The dogs have even become friends now!! This spot is a 10/10 everytime!!!!

Second time here and another wonderful experience plus a nice wading pool for puppies all set up. The host is so attentive and considerate! She noticed that we arrived about 15 minutes early and we were waiting in the car, and she graciously invited us to enter the yard right away as it was clear.

What a great first time experience. Everything was exactly as stated - we didn't even make it to the 1 hour mark, after 45 minutes my dogs were super happy and super tired! Win win. Thanks!

Host was great at communicating and kindly helped us navigate the construction in the area. Dogs loved the water feature and there’s so much room and a nice shady spot for humans. Definitely will be back.

Gerlyn was a very gracious and accomodating host. She provided plenty of toys and a wading pool (already prepped) for the pups to enjoy. She even offered to let us to stay past the hour because we arrived late, which was super kind and considerate. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful and very well kept property! The fence is secure with no gaps. The host graciously provides toys for the puppies to use. There is a table with chairs if you want to relax while your puppy is playing. Very good communication with the host beforehand with directions to the property.
