Please have your dog on leash until through the car port as it’s close to the road. We are working on getting a riding lawn mower as ours is currently broken so bare with us on the grass. There are several toys in the backyard in a chuck it bucket it for dogs to play with, please note that the chuck it balls with the holes do not float and are quite hard to retrieve due to the mud from the shoreline, so take caution if your dog will drop it in the water. 💧 There are cameras on the house for security purposes. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

This is such a great place to bring your dog. When you arrive, it’s private with no distractions. No problem finding the entrance and parking. The property is beautiful with a wide open field and forest trails. Extremely clean. We booked two hours to take our time. Our dog is reactive, so finding this spot with ultimate privacy and letting him sniff everything…he was in absolute heaven. Thank you very much to our wonderful hosts and sharing your beautiful property. It makes a world of difference for dogs that require solitude, nature and privacy. We will definitely be back soon!

This is a great spot! My dog loved running through the trails and going up and down the hills. There are clean outhouses for humans, water for doggos, and encouraging signs that made my whole day. The hosts were patient and answered many questions and put up with my horrible parking location choice. We will be back for sure!

If I could give this spot 10 stars I would! We booked an hour and a half, which was a good amount of time, but we will likely book 2 hours next time since I did wish we had more time (we would have loved to walk the trails again and do another loop). Clear instructions were given to find the parking lot and a map was shared, which was great as this property has so much to offer. This property has it all, huge open field, a nice long trail with offshoots, spots to stop and sit, and a port-a-potty. There were even poop bags at the parking lot! The pups had an incredible time running along the trails and into the forest, and chasing each other on the field. The town of Port Perry is also only about 20 minutes away, which has an adorable downtown and waterfront area, and yummy food places, so although it’s a bit of a drive, you could totally make a day of it. If you’ve been wondering about booking this space DO IT!!! I promise you and your pups will have a blast!

We LOVED this property! My 2 dogs had a blast exploring! Definitely our new favorite spot. As you park, grab some poop bags on the post if needed and begin your walk. It's obvious which direction to start; you're led into an open field that looks like a fun place to play games and let the kids burn off some steam. There is a porta potty and drinkable water available! Hiking was fun with varied terrain + wide trails that wind through an expansive forest. Along the way you'll find awesome pit stops like the fire pit with a huge platform of Muskoka chairs lined up. It would be a great spot for a picnic! Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
