Beautiful space and my dog LOVED all the nooks and crannies for sniffing. It’s definitely been his favourite Sniffspot so far. There’s also a great tennis court for playing fetch.

Alice’s property is a puppy oasis. My pup loves to run and he had a blast bombing around the yard. There’s lots of variety with the trees and open spaces. My pup is also an escape artist, so it was great peace of mind knowing that the space is well fenced. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful afternoon here! The yard is big and has shady and sunny spots and was perfect for the dogs to run around, play fetch and chase, and just be dogs. It was secure and I didn't worry about the dogs at all. Thank you!

Our host Yvonne is a wonderful, kind and friendly dog lover. Astrid smiled from ear to ear playing ball, drinking water and enjoying some treats provided for our visit. Amazing experience! Beautiful yard, easy parking. Host left us water and dog treats. Yard had a great combination of shaded and sunny spots. My dog has the best time sniffing and running around. Host is really friendly and accommodating and we would love to be back!

We had a great experience at Yvonne's spot. It was secure and large enough to play some frisbee and fetch, or just lay around relaxing which my pup did for quite a bit of the time. I used it for some decompression time for my dog and it really did the trick, he's been so much better on leash since getting some off-leash time. I highly recommend this place.

He was very happy playing with the toys provided, and I appreciated the water, bags, and treats that were there for us too. Spot was easy to find with parking right outside entrance. Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

Are dog parks safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
